"Five states---New York, California, Texas, Arizona and Florida---are perilously close to losing out on congressional seats because of lackluster participation in the U.S. census."

Census mail results could be trouble for 5 states - Yahoo! News

Sounds bad, but I am sure those states will find a way around it, hah.

that's why I think they're stupid.

They need to be counted so they can be represented.

I'm from Florida, and I did my part on filling out the Census.

They can't say they weren't warned.

I noticed the state that are named above are also the very states that have HIGH amount of Immigrants. Makes me wonder if they actually understand the census and the purpose of it. Or if some are actually afraid since they are illegal or what not.

Actually I notice that those are red states. Maybe they will turn blue? With violins in the streets and all that?

I live in Texas and I filled my census form out and sent it back in the mail weeks ago.

Well, if they're mostly Democrats that are worried about it, can that be all that bad? lol
