Carpet Free from Fleas

None of carpets in my house but laminate floor, marble floor and wand/floor tiles since 8 years now and lovveee it. It's very easy to clean than vaccum on the carpets.

Well, fleas, etc are everywhere, not just because of carpet.

What material is "wand"?

I'm glad to know that! Sometimes some people don't think to take their pets out of the house while they fumigate or use Raid all over the house.
If humans need to leave the house, then the pets should also leave the house.

Bird pets are very sensitive to fumes, so owners should ask their vets if it's OK for them to be exposed after bug bombs are used.

One danger is that people use too many bug bombs at one time, or they set them off near gas pilot lights. That's a no-no. People need to carefully read the directions.

We prefer to use the bug bombs once a year in our garage, attic and storage buildings. But first we make sure there are no bird or squirrel nests inside. :)

I hope that the lizards escape the fumes but I don't know if they do. I haven't found any dead ones, so I guess they do escape.

Occchhh I mean wall, not wand.. It's my typo!!! German word: "Wand" for English word - wall... :o:

wall/floor tiles for bathroom and WC.
floor tiles for kitchen

Right, you use common sense and also there's directions on the back of the Raid, where it stated to remove pets and birds. ;)

Yea I used bomb before and it kills the flea and eggs and ticks. No more for the summer it help. Of course I put my pets out of the house while it is bomb.

I know what you are talking about the powder. It's called Mule Team Borax.

They sell it at the grocery store in the laundry section. It is a white powder. They just sprinkle it around and then vacuum it up a few hours later. They need to change the bag or else put a small piece of a flea collar in the bag before they vacuum.

The other thing is diatomaceous earth. Same thing, they just do not want to breathe in any of the powder. This one is a little dusty but good to put on the pets to kill fleas.

Hope that helps.

A RAID is just a bad news because of toxic which means that you have to clean the entire house including walls and ceiling... everything. It is just not healthy. Actually, I had the RAID once, and I never do it again.

No way would put that in the vacuum bag. I was told by the Veterinarian that Mule Team Borax is toxic and can kill pets and even small children.

Don't forget to wash your pet's bedding. *pet's blanket, towels etc* As the fleas and eggs will be there as well.

People use it for laundry all the times. It is safer than regular detergent. I wonder why your Vet said that.
