cant study

yup. I graduated from state university as well. I used to go to community college for summers (it's lot cheaper). Both do not need IDs to get around.... which is good because we taxpayers paid for it - thus, we have rights to roam around.

That explains strange people walking around campus or walking their dogs on campus. Probably neighbors....

so mom told me today that i shouldnt study so much. She is nuts.

You tell your mother that for the amount of tuition and books you're paying (through financial aid, loans or otherwise) that yes, you most certainly *do* have to study more often. I'm sorry, but I'm really surprised she said that to you.

seriously. tuition and books are free in texas for blind people *tactile smile* but yeah, if i am ever going to graduate i need to pass... wich might require studying... just maybe...

I know that studying is serious in college. I don't know why your parents don't respect you for that. Did they go to college to understand what college is about?

you are very funny. mom didnt graduate high school.

oh... well.... just explain to her that it's very very important for you to study really hard because you will get a good job that will pay for everything. :cool2:

I can really relate with you, tactile smile! *big throaty hugs*

I am in a predicament right now because I really need to focus on my Braille. It is hard to do my Braille at home and I have set my personal 2009 goals and decided that in order for me to proceed levels in Braille, I'd have to go to a "school-like" environment because home is just too distracting.

Way too comfortable, the fridge is there, TV, the cats and I socialise way too much. I'm a diehard chatterbox!

The library is best. The lightbulb pictured is what I use in every light socket and lamps.

thanks, i know what you mean about the braille. i went to a training center to learn it, but havent had time to touch it twice since i left.

Out of curiosity, do you receive services through VR (vocational rehabilitation)? VR is paying for my university education (tuition, books, etc.).
