Can't sleep - anyone wanna join me for a late night thread??

Wish Alldeaf had a chat room directly from this website. It would be nice to chat sometime.

feel free to join the AIM AD Chat.

I know the feeling. I hate it when I get in bed and my mind decides to rev up and won't shut down. I especially hate it when I am just about asleep and then it revs up!! Ugh!

I wouldn't mind if I didn't have to go to work in the AM, or if I could actually piece these thoughts together and come up with something creative.

I can't sleep due to racing thoughts, so fast I can't even make sense of them. Does anyone want to join me for a late night thread of mindless things??

I could have sworn there was another late night thread from a while ago... :hmm:

Thank ya! :cool2: I just got it hand washed yesterday as well. Some peewee cheerleaders were having a car wash to help raise money to go to the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade. I couldn't turn them down, bless their little hearts. Actually, I had just detailed it last week myself, I figured a touch-up couldn't hurt.

I would never have my truck washed by such thing... but I'd give donation and say good job.

Ah, a really nasaly version of jingle bells with a bunch of off-tune kids singing it?

When I get like this - usually I want to listen to face paced club music all night, but alas, this isn't my casa so thats out of the question. Anyway - when I get voices stuck in my head I usually get the staticky version of a Presidential speech. Sometimes word for word for about 2-3 minutes of the speech.

Other times it's like someone's whispering my name over and over. I look up, and no one's there. Now THAT'S annoying!!

I think so. It sounds like jingle bells to me. :P

Yeah there was, but I've allowed that thread to die peacefully....

Why not? The girls were enthusiastic about it. I gave them all the cash I had on hand as their money box looked pretty empty and their sponsor had said it was slow.

because of debris left in their sponges that will scratch up cars

Maybe it was the 'ringle rells' that those chinese guys sang at the end of 'A Christmas Story'?

I don't think ever saw it. I think it was made in 1983..

I think I shoul count my lucky stars that I don't have to listen to the umpa lumpas in my head from willy wonka and the chocolate factory.

And how do you know there's debris in their sponges? If so, it's because their KIDS, they don't know any better, neither does the sponsor. They are just there to raise money for their cause.

I think it was made in 1983, but I don't recall seeing it until 1989.

As for the damned oompa loompas, why did you have to remind me of those annoying little orange twads? I was forced to sit through that crap numerous times during school. They saw it as 'educational programming', I saw it as utterly annoying and stupid and whoever came up with that must've been tripping out majorly to come with some of the stuff that was included in the movie. :eek3:

Now I feel like I need to go snort cocaine or something just to get the oompa loompas out of my head. LOL.

because all they have is some buckets and sponges. they reuse it for all cars. I rather not take a risk and find out. I'll leave it to Mother Nature to wash my truck.

exactly. they're kids and they don't wash cars for living so I prefer to donate and cheer for them rather than let them wash my truck.

then you'll never be able to sleep.

Why do you think they call it 'insomnia'? Besides if I did, I would just get bored and turn off the phone. Then, I would lay here all night tossing and turning and flipping and so forth and not get much more than about 30 minutes of sleep at a time if I'm lucky.

Have you ever actually noticed scratches and were able to pin point it directly to such a car wash? You live in a big city, debris is everywhere.

Also - who washes cars for a living anyways? Most people take their cars to automatic car washes or to those self-wash car washes or they wash it by hand at home.
