mate, this will happen in the U.S soon enough than you think. You will need to get over with that. Cotton made monies are too easy to break and make fake and get through the circulation. Plastic can't and it is very hard to do - this kind is the same as Australian monies and it has been around for more than 15 years.

I wouldn't be surprised if all of the vending machines will have to be modified to accept these bills. I know they had to modify all of the machines to accept the new dime years ago due to the change in the weight and depth, which was an incredibly small change, yet made a big difference.

But how would you carry the new bills ,it would be hard to fold your wallet with all those plastics bills in it . I most men like to carry their wallet in their back pocket .

I don't carry my wallet in the back pocket. It's easy for someone to pickpocket your wallet that way. Not to mention that it's bad for your back.
