I must reiterate again: Deaf people can be models, if they put their hearts and mind to it!!

:lol: Nah, There's no point to be chasing you at all, ha. It is great to see that the thread is steering in a postitive note which can be used to a great sense.

However, I do believe that deaf people can be models, only if they strive to be and not letting their deafness get in the way ;)

Dude, GIVE IT UP. Deaf people just don’t understand metaphor. They take EVERYTHING literally. Harlan Lane devotes an entire chapter in one of his books to this subject. Marry one and you’ll find this out real fast.

Anyway, wasn’t Alex working on a web site for Deaf models? I think he abandoned it a long time ago, though.

Trust me—you’re taking it to the wrong audience. Mayflower and I got into a huge fight about this last week. She ended up crying and I ended up sleeping on the couch. It’s just not worth it. Deaf people just don’t understand metaphor or simile. They’re just like Hymie the Robot from Get Smart. If you tell them to kill the lights, they pull out a gun and shoot the light bulb. :lol:
