Call in sick with job

my employer have sickness policy.. however its not that strict.

after 6 months of employeement you get sick hours..

i've been on same job for 6 years. have been used about 45 hours total sick paid since past 6 years

i had similar to some of you called "point" we only get .02 hours per hour i have been worked. for example if i work 80 hours i get 1.6 hour of sick paid up to a maxinum of 192 hours of sick paid.. then the sick hours above will be transfered to personal hours-paid. in order to get sick paid.. you must be absent for 2 days or more. so if i'm sick for 1 day.. i don't get those. however many employees decide to give another extra day call-in sick. to get 8 hours sick-paid..

for me i prefer to save the hours in case i get in accident, or very ill i get paid. also want to have it transferd to personal time off with paid.

however if you call in for 3 days or more.. then they require a doctors note.

In my old highschool time, just an note from parents if been sick for a day or couple of days, no need for an doctor note.

University: medical certificate needed from the doctor as an proof, if being sick and away for couple of days, if no medical certificate the university grades will drop down.

Work: just phone (cellphone texting or email) the boss and let them know, no medical certificate needed from the doctor.
