Hi,

I'm Anglo American living in the rural outskirts of L.A. County and on the edges of senior citizenship. Deaf to profoundly deaf all my life except in the lower registers, only recently has hearing aid technology improved enough to deal with the sharp frequency response curve necessary to help me. Now I can hear birdsong for the first time in my life and people have stopped mumbling to me (well, most of the time).

I want to experiment with Direct Audio Input, but can't find anyone who sells the leads ("Y" lead, jack to two Euro-plugs) the shoes require, without paying a load of shipping costs and getting them from England. Anyone have any U.S. ideas (please post reply or p.m. me)?

17 hand Missouri Foxtrotter

Yes, I have a 17 hand Missouri Foxtrotter gelding (all black except for a white star). He's six, but is amazingly well behaved, kind and gentle for that young a horse. Learns fast, isn't phased by much, friendly but not too pushy.

His gaits are wonderful, he's short coupled with an amazing canter.

My wife has a 10 year old MFT mare. Also a dream horse in most respects.

It took us a while, and several trips to Utah, to find the right horses, but these are they.
 
17 hands! Wow! I saw a 17 plus Tennessee Walker once about 30 years ago...

I have own Apha 16. hd Bay Mare and 7 years old since own her when she was 5 months old filly. We move here New England from California so Rosie isnt happy live here :giggle: cuz cold weather lol But she had plenty thick blanket to warmer her !!

Danke. Mein Deutsch ist sehr rustig. Wenn ich in England wohnen, ich oft zu Deutchland besucht. Meinen Kollegen arbeitet (past tense?) nach Fachhochschule Konstanze - sehr malerisch Bereich. Aber nicht viele Leute hier kann Deutch sprechen, so Heute, ich kein Ubung werde.


Horses are great, sorry you are allergic to them.

I had a 16.3 Walker, but he was getting too old and tired to carry my weight; I'm 6' 2" and around 250lbs. He still lives on a ranch nearby, giving children lessons, and I visit him from time to time. Sadly, he's been allowed to pace, rather than gait, so the kids aren't getting the real smooth gaited horse experience.

Phillips - nice looking horse. A lot greener there than here :)

nett dich zu kennenlernen. Ich überrasche mich, dass Du gut im deutsch schreibst. *excite*
Aha, Du meinst, wenn Du in England wohnst, wäre öftres nach Deutschland kommen. Ich bin 4 mal in London besuchen um besichtigen herum in London (Museum, Pub, theatre etc...) unvergesslich!
Aber Ich bleibe hier auch nicht lange, da Ich fliege bald nach SF im Oktober wegen meine Studium. Ich bin aber auch 3 mal in Cal gewesen.
Ich hoffe, Du verstehst, was Ich meine oder ich soll besser im Englisch schreiben :) sag es mir einfach, danke!

Ja, naturlich. Es ist gut fur mich, mein Deutch zu nutzen. Einfach ist gut! Ich bitte um Verzeihung fur meine Fehlern.
