Buying Specific Products

I buy organic food when it comes to vegetables and fruits! Even if they are costly, they taste much better! :D (my POV)

There are certain products that I like eating which come from brands but every product I buy that I don't know I have to read the notes carefully since I have stomach and bile problems. Everything has to be low fat...

I though only buy brand products when it comes to coffee, pasta, rice and chocolate ;) Only the best of chocolate for me :D

That's all I can think of right now...
 
I'm like that too.

I never really buy organic food, but if there's something that's highly recommended or something that I'm curious about... then I might get it once. For instance, I got a quart of goat's milk because I was curious how it tasted compared to cow's milk. The only place I could find it was at an organic food store.

yea. I have tried many organic products and food from farmer's market just to taste the difference. It does taste differently and fresher but was it tasty enough for me to pay more for it all the time? not really lol.

which one do you like better now? goat milk or cow milk?

Well, it depends on how it's consumed...

By itself, it tastes a bit sweeter... but more enjoyable of taken in small sips instead of being gulped down.

With cereal, can't really taste it... but the aftertaste is a bit obvious.

With cake, the same as cereal.

With cookies, can't really taste it either way... cuz the flavor of the cookie beat the flavor of the milk.

So, overall? It's best if you're looking to try something different once.

Normally, you can buy cow's milk anywhere for $2 a gallon. For goat's milk, it's $4 for a quart.
 
goat milk... ewww... I tried it once, never again :giggle: then I have a slight preference for soy milk if necessary ;) I usually drink low fat milk though for my cereals. Same goes with plain yoghurt!
