The richer the rich get, the more jobs the poor will be able to get.

Taylor said:So, if you take the time to go to school or to learn a trade, you should be penalized because you are making more money? What incentive is there for you to try and increase your income? Why would people making over $150k a year be penalized for almost HALF of their income?
Something else to think about. Suppose you own a business. You could run the business all by yourself and make $150,000 with one person having a job. I would be paying $90,000 in taxes. Instead of me paying $90,000 a year in taxes, why not let me re-invest that money into my business. I could hire 2 people, each making $45,000 a year. 3 new hires could be earning $30,000 a year. So, would you prefer that the $90,000 just go into the government to pay for welfare, or would you rather me take 3 people off of welfare and give them jobs?
While I don't think the rich should be given any tax shelters or using tax loopholes, but why should they be penalized?
I'll never understand why people think you should be penalized for making improvements in your life to do better for themselves. Whats the point in going to a college where you'll lose almost half of your income when you graduate? I'd also like to know how many people here have been given a job by a poor person.

Banjo said:I don't think it's really a bad idea, plus there would be no more income tax frauds meaning the taxpayers won't have to pay more for the people who commit tax fraud to stay in the prison.
Though, people at stores can commit fraud by keeping the money instead of giving it to the government.
Though, it'll have to be heavily researched and this may mean no more IRS. People shouldn't have to worry on if they owe taxes or not because they've already paid it through the NST (National Sales Tax). I can see the potential in it, and people will spend MORE money.
exactly the democrats at fault for confusing you and liying that replubicains is at fault . i went thru the same way and my parents told me that !!!! So everyone needs to go beck and see thre difference between demo and replublicans is by asking around friends or parents etc take your best judgements from there i thinkTaylor said:So, if you take the time to go to school or to learn a trade, you should be penalized because you are making more money? Taylor, I disagree. The poor and the lower middle class should not pay any taxes. The people who can afford a $100,000 home a $30,000 car and buy $250 worth of groceries a week are the ones who should pay.
harleymn said:sorry Iam not following you on the tv sets, what does that have anything to do with how a person makes more than others except for ?
sounds much like a communist to me.. since communist goals are having everyone have equal amount of money.. does that make sense?Taylor said:Steve, let me give you an example. How many televisions do you have in your house? Lets say you have two of them....one in your living room and one in your bedroom. Now, the guy down the street from you doesn't have any televisions in his house. Should the goverment come into your house and take one of your TV's away to give to that guy because he can't afford a television? Why should you lose your television because you made a little bit more money and could afford to buy two televisions? Additionally, the guy down the street has no reason to even try to make any more money because what he doesn't have, the goverment will take from you to give to him.

everyone who earns money they do their job to earn it, they work hard to earn it, they success to earn it.. some people out there have 2 jobs.. and that means more income.. why take away more taxes if a person is having 2 jobs? that's unfair..
in fact there's a individual tax bracket for each income sources.. 15% 28% so on...
