Because you're being ridiculous. Tit for tat, I could call you a "rabid anti-Obamanite," but I don't resort to such name calling just because you disagree with the President elect I support.

Before rabid anti-Obamanites gets a chance to criticize, remember this:

Bush is leaving this country with:

failure to capture bin Laden

I dont think in the future we would be able to capture Bin Laden at all cause I assume the government has actually let him go so I dont think Obama would try the job to capture Bin Laden but may try his job to pull the war out instead so no more soilders have to die over pointless stuff as Oil.

No kidding. Why can't Conservatives gracefully accept Obama's victory and leave it at that?
Umm, who created all the post-election anti-Bush, anti-Palin threads?

Funny how they can call those who criticize Bush "rabid anti-Bushites" but when they criticize Obama, it's a completely different story.
You have it backwards. Didn't you read the first post of this thread?

Do you think Obama can handle to resolve all this ?

i am sure, yes Obama will take his responsibility for those papers from Bush, but it would be hard work for order papers etc.... the same happen with government "Helmut Kohl" from germany, when he remains for 16 years there. we were voting for another "Gerhard Schroeder", so he took a lot change of those papers, when Helmut Kohl left a lot negative messages paper under Desk.

Are you saying that liberals accept gracefully when one they don't want are voted? History doesn't show that.

Read post #1.

As an American citizen and voter, I have the right to criticize Obama, and no rabid anti-Bushite can muzzle my First Amendment rights.

It looks like you're making excuses for Obama before he's even sworn in.

Certainly, you have that right under the First Amendment.

But remember, when you start criticizing Obama on his first month, it ain't him that caused the economic meltdown. It ain't him who started the Iraqi war. It ain't him who started recession. It goes on and on. The effects of Obama doesn't begin til a year later.

I already see comments on Faux news blaming Obama already!

Number one, President G. W. Bush has been in office for the past 8 years and given his extremely poor track record, I think that gives me the right to complain about him if I wish. Obama hasn't even been in office yet and you are already criticizing him. Second, I'm not the only one who had a great deal of fear when it came to the possibility of having Palin elected as Vice-President. Apparently 60% of voters felt the same way.

You have it backwards. Didn't you read the first post of this thread?

netrox isn't what I would call a "rabid anti-Bushite." He was pointing out facts -- not ranting on and on spouting irrelevancies about President Bush.

If you are seeing other blame Obama for things now, I would have to agree that is wrong unless it has to do with what he voted while he was a senator.

Blaming him for what? He hasn't even been sworn in yet.

Every time I turned to Fox News today, all I heard were people gushing praise about Obama.

As well they should! In case you've forgotten, Barack Obama is the first African-American to be elected as United States President. That seems worthy of praise to me.

If that's the only reason people voted for him, then that's racist, not praiseworthy. If people voted against him because of race, then that's shameful.

Like MLK said, "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."

No one should be elected based on skin color.

Let us not forget that Obama is eventually half white and half black. But I don't care what color that person is, however. Maybe we ought to say that he's the first mixed president? lol

If you would had paid closer attention to the Democratic side of the election, you would have realized that Obama was elected based on his ideas, inspiration to promote change and his ability to rise above numerous challenges despite his difficult family background.

As I said, I think that's worthy of praise.

And by the way, MLK would be proud of what happened yesterday. MLK had a dream and the majority of Americans fufilled that dream when they elected Obama.

And quite obviously, Barak Obama wasn't elected simply because his skin is brown. But that does not negate the fact that he is the first man who has been able to overcome that obvious racial barrier to acceptance by being elected to the office of President by a majority of the voting public, and a landslide nuimber of electoral votes. Yesterday, Obama went a long way toward fulfilling MLK's dream. He was judged by his character, and found worthy to represent this country as President.

You are reading too much. Most people don't vote because of race. The fact that America voted for a BLACK president is a big deal for African-Americans who have been badly tainted by racist attitudes from whites.

So, it's praiseworthy that a black man was elected as the FIRST BLACK president and serves as an inspiration for African-Americans!

Notice that Reba stated IF so she wasn't mean to point everyone who voted for Obama but only those who did in purpose to vote him cuz of skin only.

I heard and read many, MANY interviews, and read many posts, where the emphasis was only on "the first African-American" to be President. It was totally about color for many voters--they said so. I saw a bumper sticker on a car at work that said, "African-American for Obama." Why was race emphasized if it wasn't important to some people?

Race is always important to some people. There are those who voted against Obama simply because of the color of his skin, as well. But, if you will check the issues that were number one with the voting public, race was not among the top.

So if Obama was a white man, would he have gotten the same number of votes?
