sorry, guys. yesterday my montior's adapter is faggot. it doesnt work now.. i'm borrowing my uncles friends monitor...yesterday i cant live without a pc...:P...lesson learned never get a lcd with a adapter look like box.
Why not buy used or new monitor ? you could hold on buy video card later.
1. new monitor
2. new video card price go down when hoilday come around corner with black friday you could save from it.

Just to confuse you further, DVI output is identical to HDMI (w/o sound, ofc). :P

Hmm. I have no problem with that for customers and friends at all.
Maybe you get bad adapter or video card need setting correct.

The screen resolution limit to 1600x900 ?
you might want to look at 1680x1050 or higher.

This is LOT CHEAP than past. I spend almost $250 for 19" LCD 25ms in 2002.
Also, HDMI is pointless for computer monitor. HDMI and DVI are almost same but just add an audio. Most computer monitors do not come with speaker.
Thanks for info and I bought 19" LCD ACER for $99 about a year ago and no problem ever since but the screen max resolution limit at 1680x1050, most games I played with all max setting no problem.
I might learn more about LED in the future.

Not a bad monitor at all, especially for the price.
I, however, am waiting for the black friday deals. Gonna wait until then to snag a 16:10 monitor for $100 (hopefully 22") -- friend of mine was able to snag three last black friday for $300 total, so hoping to do the same.
