Bugs Bunny gets an extreme makeover
Kids’ WB network updating Looney Tunes characters

NEW YORK - Bugs Bunny and his pals are being updated for the future — way in the future.

The WB network will take the famed Looney Tunes characters as models for a new children’s series, “Loonatics,” that will air on Saturday mornings starting this fall. The characters’ descendants — Buzz Bunny and the like — will be superhero action figures for the cartoon set in the year 2772.

The network’s animators have re-imagined Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Wile E. Coyote as sleek new figures for a modern age.

In the picture, the each are descendants of the following... in order from left to right:

Wile E. Coyote - Taz - Bugs Bunny - Daffy Duck - Honey Bunny - Road Runner

I wonder if they will have descendants of Marvin the Martian, Pepé Le Pew, Tweety, Sylvester, Granny, Elmer Fudd, and Porky Pig?

the ideas from the WB network for the new bugs bunny cartoons sound so COMPLETELY gay.
 
Sounds like Power Rangers crossed with Looney Tunes....notice marks on their chests and different colors?

[EDIT] Just another twisted idea like they did with Daffy Duck in Star Trek. I love Martian Queen.
 
I dont care if it's gonna be popular or not...otherwise, I'm not gonna watch that new series.

the orginal Bugs Bunny is always the best, and will be.

of course, he would always go "what's up, doc?" after he just beats mickey mouse to death with his carrot that's hard to break, but easy to chew...lol

Thats what I thought! It also reminds me a lot of that batman show.. I cant remember what its called... Its a cartoon of when Batman gets old and has a young kid fight for him..
 
:thumbd: I don't like it one bit. NO WAY. Those cartoons are classics and need no changing.

"Batman beyond".

yeah, that's the one...WB decided to discontinue the animated series after they see that it hasn't really made the trees grow money anyway...lol

"Batman beyond" was actually one of the worst animated series I've ever seen...along with "static shock" and "zoe" (zoe is already cancled, but I'm not sure about static shock)

But to be honest, I like that Batman's new look in "Batman beyond"....at least he doesn't even need a cape along with it. lol

awesome.... i still watching any cartoons since i was little toddler.... i am 27.. so what.. my man still watchin cartoons he is 39.. so what... cartoons ain't just for kids! haha.. so for adults too... for our pleasants to watchin any cartoons like spongebob , king of the hill , simpsons , southpark , few nicks cartoons , few toons cartoons.. blha blah!!


i like that cartoons *vampires,evil* woohoo! Nice!!!
