brittany murphy died

There are speculations on why she died so young. Diabetes, anorexia, diet pills, and the worst scenerio is her husband murdered her. I hope not!

Normally, people don't die of a cardiac arrest unless there's an underlying disease or disorder. Yes it is possibe to be perfectly healthy and bam, your heart just stops pumping because it cannot "sync" the electricial signals.

Whatever it is, we lost a wonderful talented actress and I wish well for her beloved ones. RIP.

It is true..it almost happened to me when I was 33 years old and 8 months pregnant with my son. Just out of the blue, my heart stopped beating normally (atrial fib) and couldnt go back in sync. As a result, I spent a week in the hospital. The doctors told me that I was lucky that I didnt ignore the signs. It was scary.

Glad you are ok! how can you tell if your heart stopped, just feel weird?

Thanks. It never stopped..it started beating irregularly. My chest felt heavy and my right arm kept going numb or tingling. It had been going on for like 2 days and my aide at work suggested to me to go to the school infirmary and see what's up. So, I go there and explained my symptoms thinking it was nothing major. They listened to my heart and as soon as they did, they asked me for my dr's phone number. I knew that something was wrong so I asked them what was wrong? They said they didnt know but they needed to talk to my dr asap. So they called him and explained to him what they heard and he told them to call 911. When they told me that they had to call 911, I froze. When I arrived at the hospital and they were rushing me, I started crying thinking I was dying because I didnt know what was happening. Scary..

I wonder if Brittany had the same symptoms but ignored them? :hmm:

Or she couldn't tell if shes having a pain chest from using the drug? :dunno2: That's what I wonder... I should not have make any assumption about her but some of us want to know.

Thanks, shel for sharing this that we may be aware when it comes to our health, and not ignore it.

That's scary. I had a friend that age as well and was hospitalized for afib.

Afib is less dangerous in short term - it rarely causes cardiac arrest but blood thinners are often prescribed to prevent clots from forming in atria while it's not pumping efficiently. But I know it can cause significant discomfort and anxiety.

I've had many episodes of PVC's as they call it - premature beats - used to be daily basis but fortunately, it went away. They scare me but doctors assure that they're nothing to worry about as long as my heart is structurally stable.

Sudden cardiac arrest in young people usually have a family history of genetic defects in their cardiac - electrical system - something to do with not being able to pump sodium or potassium in and out of cells correctly.

I read about that a couple days ago. Shocking!

She was only 32!

May she rest in peace.

In the movie Girl Interrupted (Brittany is Daisy Randone):

Lisa Rowe to Daisy Randone: "I think you want to poop. It's been days."

Daisy: "Which do you like better? Taking a dump alone or with Valerie watching?"
Susanna: "Alone."
Daisy: "Everyone likes to be alone when it comes out. I like to be alone when it goes in. To me, the cafeteria is like being with twenty girls all at once taking a dump."
Lisa: "That is fucked up, Daisy."

Georgina: "I'm gonna have peppermint stick."
Polly: "Yeah, me too, can I just have peppermint stick?"
Ronny: "Sure."
Daisy: "NO! It’s just called PEPPERMINT!"
M.G.: "Peppermint dick!"
[everyone laughs]
M.G.: "Peppermint CLIT!"

So? The paparazzi will do whatever they can to get in. They'll be snapping pics too. That's just how it is. :roll:You know nothing.

Like the paparazzi are really gonna respect that.

You really think the paparazzi are gonna actually respect that, don't you?

yep paparazzi need respect and officers tell media and paparazzi to stay off!! They wont enter without knowledge of Brittany's family or can arrest ASAP but must get private family&stars alone of Brittany.

believe me there will be securty gaurds assigned to keep the media out and only allow close family members and friends in. there`s probably a search of cameras and recording devices at the door.any cameras found will be confiscated.

and im sure there will be lookouts all around the grounds to check for potential paparazzi, anyone suspected of this will be asked to leave if they dont they face jail time for trespassing.

as far as brittany goes. rip girl you lived a short but talented life. im sure youll entertain those above.

Brittany Murphy Buried In Private Ceremony
Brittany Murphy: Film Star Buried In Private Ceremony In Hollywood Hills | Showbiz News | Sky News

Actress Brittany Murphy, who died suddenly at age 32, has been buried at a private ceremony at a cemetery in the Hollywood hills.

The intimate gathering was "very nice, very respectful", said long-time family friend Alex Ben Block, who eulogised Murphy.

Her husband, Simon Monjack, who she married in 2007, also spoke.

The service began on Thursday afternoon and stretched on into the evening.

A Christian minister and a rabbi presided and guests sang Amazing Grace at the grave site.

Mr Block said Murphy loved Christmas and that it was ironic that she was buried on Christmas Eve.

A small group of reporters and a few news vans waited outside the main gates of the cemetery, where luminaries such as Liberace, Bette Davis, Lucille Ball, Gene Autry and Freddie Prinze are buried.

Murphy died on Sunday after collapsing at her Hollywood Hills home.

Authorities continue to investigate the death but do not suspect foul play.

Brittany Murphy Laid to Rest at Twilight
Brittany Murphy Laid to Rest at Twilight - Brittany Murphy : People.com

Brittany Murphy was laid to rest at twilight on Thursday in a private ceremony before family and friends at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles. The Kaddish, a traditional Jewish mourning prayer, was recited and the hymn "Amazing Grace" was sung.

The actress, 32, died of apparent cardiac arrest in her and husband Simon Monjack's L.A. home early Sunday. The official cause of death will not be known for weeks pending toxicology results by the L.A. coroner.

According to a statement released by the family, at the funeral Monjack called his wife his "soul mate." "He went on to say that mystery is the nature of love and you never know when or where it will strike or how quickly it will be taken from you," the statement read.

Other family members and friends shared their memories and concluded the service with a reading from The Little Prince.

As a teenager, Murphy appeared in TV series, and later costarred in such films as Clueless and Drop Dead Gorgeous. She was due to appear in a Sylvester Stallone movie, The Expendables, set for release next year.

"She was one of the world's great actresses," her husband, whom she married in 2007, told PEOPLE this week. "She loved her job … along with her family and puppy. We were more blessed to have Brittany in our lives than she could have been to have us."
