And Eyeth, some people, including I, do read BBC news. It has more of an international flavor, which I cannot speak for many U.S.-based newspapers. Does that make me less of an American?

Another BBC reader here. Anyway, I doubt the missile was aimed at Hawaii, for three reasons. One, NK would have to be nuts (ok, they're nuts, but this is beyond even them) to do that - this is a test shot, so there's no payload (they don't want to waste materiel), and they wouldn't want to piss us off unnecessarily. Two, if they were going to attack the US, they'd be more likely to attack the continental US than Hawaii, and the Taepodong-2 can theoretically do that. Three, the source is questionable - it's a Japanese newspaper, and a conservative one at that. The Japanese are already pissed at the North Koreans, and this is just making things worse.
Not that it's impossible that they aimed at Hawaii or nearby waters; but I'm skeptical until and unless it's confirmed by a more reliable source. Even then, I'd be somewhat suspicious for reasons 1 and 2 above.

NBC Lies as Well.No wonder they let Katie Couric Go because of her false story when there was an accident at Macys thanksgiving parade she failed to report when there was an accident on one of the Balloons and NBC News producer showed an old footage of the balloon passed safely from a year ago. And ABC NEWS Lied in the 1972 Olylimic games when they said the hostages were rescued and safe but 12 hours later it turned out they were all dead. And CNN is one sided and they never tell the whole story they always favor the democrats that why i called CNN= CLINTON NEWS NETWORK. Thats why i watch Fox News Channel.Boult said:
