That president wasn't the sharpest crayon in the box. Not by a long shot.I find it ironic that not so long ago, our previous Prez had men looking in caves and remote villages, and he was found in a heavily populated area in a mansion.
The intelligence has being gathered over the last few months. Today was the 5th meething.
But I don't think this works like "Crime Stoppers."

The Rewards For Justice Program, United States Department of State, is offering a reward of up to $25 million for information leading directly to the apprehension or conviction of Usama Bin Laden. An additional $2 million is being offered through a program developed and funded by the Airline Pilots Association and the Air Transport Association.
See post #116, bolded statement, and following.the reward is for those who provided information so I'm wondering who was the informant
I don't think this news would be accepted without remains. We have waited too long for this news to come.

Actually the tip came from one of the Al Qaeda prisoners in 2007 during the Bush years and it necessarily took alot of time for the U.S. to investigate and determine whether it was actually his whereabouts.
Oh? So you are saying that a prisoner at Gitmo (is that darn place still open?) gave crucial information that led to Osama Bin Laden? And, furthermore, Gitmo was Bush's idea?
Why didn't Obama close Gitmo like he promised to?
No I did not say it.
Check the link that I gave earlier - It broadly detailed in some ways on how the US caught bin Laden.
Colonel Mustard with the candlestick in the library?
Nope it was Miss Scarlett!!
