Breaking News! CNN announces Osama Bin Laden is Dead !

Even, my office......

What? The coffee machine might explode? Just kidding. But still is your building an official government building or is the government leasing it from a private owner?

I think you might have a better chance of trouble than I would as USDA. Who in the world wants to blow up a chicken plant?:lol:

More of who wants to infect a chicken plant?

Ya never know!!

I was in an official gov't building on 9/11 and will tell you I was scared 5hitless. Took better than 6 hours to get home; my mom had been calling my husband all day long to find out if he had heard from me yet; there were all sorts of rumors flying around D.C. and I was stuck on a bus for most of those 6 hours, totally out of contact.

The scariest part (besides not knowing what other buildings in D.C. had been attacked; we on the bus really didn't know that the damage was limited to the Pentagon, since there were rumors of other hits) was driving over a totally deserted Beltway. When we went over that bridge and saw absolutely nothing - the Beltway totally closed down - my jaw dropped and heart started pounding, as was true for everyone on the bus, I'm sure.

After that I always kept a pair of sneakers in my bottom desk drawer. My little talisman against ever being stuck on a bus or not being able to run in heels, if it happened again.

I remember my terp ran out of my classroom on the day 911 happened. It turned out her daughter worked at the Pentagon.

Hey Dixie, be prepared for the chickens to go on a terrorist strike!
Meaning that we won't be able to have chicken for dinner tonight

I knew someone from college who was in the North Tower when it happened. She and two other deaf guys ran down and it took them almost all day to get home.

I worked like 10 minutes away. I could see the smoke. I395N was closed the minute it happened.
Same thing with Regis Philbin. His son worked at the Pentagon and he just left during his show.

Was she ok?

The Navy will release the video.
it was done before

Project Azorian - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A video showing the 1974 memorial services for the six Soviet seamen whose bodies were recovered by Project Azorian was forwarded by the U.S. to Russia in the early 1990s. Portions of this video were shown on television documentaries concerning Project Azorian, including a 1998 Discovery Channel special called A Matter of National Security [based on Clyde W. Burleson's book, The Jennifer Project(1977)] and again in 2003, on a PBS Cold War submarine episode of NOVA.[14][15][16]

I believe this burial was done in the Islamic manner.

Completely different situation.

Completely different situation.
that's what I thought so too
Since we are in the 21st century - they would rather not to release as it would be too dramatic for these people with PTSD? There are other reasons to name ...perhaps

didn't you just demand to see a proof of his death?

No, you were demanding proof that the tip that led to Osama Bin Laden was from a Gitmo detainee. I replied that even MSM articles are not proof of anything. I pointed out that no proof exists that OBL is dead. That does not mean that I believe he isn't dead.

I believe he is dead.
