think about it. she was already "dead" when he went out with another woman after two years when she was staying in a hospital.

"Dead" people don't stay in a hospital, they are put into a grave. She was not dead when Michael ignored his wedding vows to Terri.

"For richer and poorer, in sickness and in health, til death do us part, so help me God." This was my vow. To my bride. To my family and hers. To God. All witnesses to the covenent I made. I would do all I could for my wife until she died, and not by my hand.

I know people with severely brain damaged children and spouses. I know men and women with husbands and wive slipping into the abyss of alzhimers. They stay by their duty to God and family though the inconvenience may seem unbearable. It comes from old fashioned ideas like "honor" and "duty". I have no respect for people who cannot grasp those simple yet important concepts. Some people these days think the world exists to serve them. The world owes them this or that because they exist. The concept of accepting the burden of self sacrifice is alien. The concepts of duty to family, to country, to God are forgotten by so many. Sad. So sad.

Yes, Terri's spirit it finally free. It is my hope that the bitterness a lot of us feels over this whole thing can be put aside for awhile, and that we can come together and reflect on a life gone way too soon. It doesn't matter which side of the debate you were on, I think we all can agree on one thing; Terri suffered.

She is now at peace, and I truly wish healing upon her family and this nation. We all need it.

God rest Terri Schaivo.

Finally it is over so people can move on. Hopefully, the autopsy can settle what happened, so they'd not fight over what the brain scans meant. :(

actually, after her collapse due to cardiac arrest, she went into coma briefly then emerged from coma unconsciously (due to severe brain damage but I would say brain dead because all of her cortex are GONE and is now spinal fluid and brainstem)

Sad day for everyone all over the world.

Terri is free from "prisoner" in her hospice bed for 15 years.

Let hope her parents and "hubby" to bury their hatchet and pay their last respect for her at the funeral.

Terri Schiavo's parents have agreed to sell their list of supporters to a direct-mailing firm, Local 6 News reported.

The company, "Response Unlimited" pays about $150 a month for 6,000 names and $500 a month for 6,000 e-mail addresses.

A spokesperson for the Schindlers confirmed that they had agreed to sell the information, but won't say for how much.
