I had heard from my own family saying eating bread and make your hair strong and grow fast.

Is that true or false? and why?

No, I heard Alfalfa juice, If you drink it daily your hair would grow faster and stronger. Make sure you don't use strong shampoo either. I never heard about bread makes your hair grown faster and stronger.

 I never heard that.. I heard that any kind of viatmins will help your hair grow faster. I never heard that bread would grow hair fast.

Yes, DoofusMama, I have heard this too, I believe its a myth. Isn't it annoy to see little children refuse to eat breadcrust!!

Cooliefrogge - It's really depends what type of bread - wholemeal, white, tigerfibre, - too many to mention, one of those is good for the bones to grow.

Oh yeah... My mother and my Grandma always said this to me.... :laugh2:

Coolie, no I never heard about this... All what I know is bread is energy for our body is carbohydrates and high glycaemic index (GI). It's great for exercise to replace glycogen... Carbohydrates is also good for any sports etc before or after exercise and also released quickly into the blood for energy.

geliten would help not bread and mayo dosent make it grow it makes hair soft and a little siny beer is also is good for hair.

That is a first to hear about the bread working on the hair. I have never heard of this. However, I was told that if you use the horse mane shampoo (of course made for humans - not horses) would help your hair grow stronger and shiny. I don't know if it really does work but that's what I was told.

As someone else stated, Vitamin E does help too.
