the BP must take a responsible to clean up the oil spill. I might not able to swim at Lake Michigan in the summer because do oil spill.
Agreed. Slap them with a fine, I say, and make them keep the water beautiful. They ruin this, they're screwed.
I have a question. Did you see the Lake Michigan with oil spilling? Why is oil drill in Lake Michgan? I have a Deaf friends live in Chicago. They said it's an illegal to use boat and float on the lake. Because it's very clean.
The BP drill are faulted! I never forget about the deep horizon oil spilled begin in April 20, 2010 til capped to stop the leak in July 15, 2010. The BP company had arrested for criminal charges. That is so shameful!
The only thing they could do right is to go out of business ! I will never buy their gas .

Well, oil companies don't care because our political system is corrupted.
Maybe not, but the US Government is doing a LOT to protect the Great Lakes. All five lakes are federally protected, and can't be messed with whatsoever.
You think so? Oil companies lobbied to government really hard and getting into interest with oil companies over Americans.
People are allowed to go boating on the lake, but only during certain times. If memory serves me correctly, boating season should be beginning soon, but considering the fact that the lake is still frozen, it probably won't kick off until late May or sometime in June, because boaters can't go on the lake with ice capable of sinking boats. I'm hoping that the next warmup will take care of a good portion of that.
And no, I haven't. I heard about it here on my phone. My phone has a news section for just about everywhere. National, world, sports, entertainment, and weather. It has it all.
And oil drilling isn't permitted in the lake-- that refinery is for processing oil from Canada. This isn't anywhere near Deepwater-- pretty sure the Feds wouldn't let one of these here-- our lake is federally protected.
That is shameful! Which is Great Lakes have a drilled oil shore? That what my Chicago friend told me about Feds are protect the environment and lake.
I'm wondering...is there have fishing industries are available in everywhere at lakes and cities?
Here is $3.65 gallon at BP gas station. I was passed and saw the sign of Gas regular price. Do you think the gas price will climb up?
You may be using BP refined products without knowing it. They don't just sell gasoline. They make fuel for home heating, lubricating oil for car engines, fuel for aircraft, petroleum base for all kinds of consumer products, and construction materials.
Something else to think about is all the jobs they provide for American workers.
Of course, they should be fined for the spill and made responsible for its clean up.
