Boy gets Nazi ring from vending machine

First the wrapping paper and now this? Is there something up?

I still think the wrapping paper could have been an accident but not this! I don't know why she yelled at the store owner though. They don't full the toy vending machines do they? I thought that was another company? And I've never seen the guy filling them check each toy. They just dump them in. Really it's the supplier.

You seem to be having a lot of fun stirring up trouble in these nazi threads, even started one yourself. Would you still think it was funny if you where face to face with a holocaust survivor?

I'm not fomenting absolutely nothing! you remember that the ring was sold in U.S., with all the permissions of the U.S. government. I think that only in U.S.A. permitted this and more.

to her, the conclusions.

There is nothing to indicate that the toy vendor had "permissions of the U.S. government" to put Nazi rings in the machine. I don't believe there is some government bureaucrat responsible for approving toy ring designs. In other words, the government has nothing to do with it.

Unless you meant that because our country has freedom of speech, the government can't prohibit the sale of Nazi-style jewelry.

make yourself agree :D

one says that I foment Nazism based on a photograph taken by others, and published by yourself on this site, then you yourself affirm that there is no permission for selling, so in fact the seller is free to sell (and therefore has the free permit) also these rings Nazis.
but then what do you want from me? you want me to whip out the forum because I do not have sympathetic?

This should called strange and scary news! It looks like anti-Semitic is on the rise , I am not finding any Hanukkah wrapping paper at any stores in my city. The grocery stores in my city are no longer putting a table out of Kosher food for the Jewish holidays . My mom said when things got bad the Jewish people were always the blame , I think she may had been right. :( People eyes would just about fall out of their heads when they saw my Stair of David around my neck.

You must be confusing other people's posts with my posts. Please stay focused.

I don't want anything from you. I simply explained how things work in America.

I don't think anti-Semitism is rampant in the USA but there are some disturbing trends. The one I find disturbing is how so many college students are taking the Palestinian side against Israel.

However, as far as the stores go, the ones around my community sell Kosher food and Hanukkah style gift wrap, decorations, menorah, toys, chocolate geld, etc. The city of Charleston includes an annual display of a huge outdoor menorah for Hanukkah season. The local Jewish community here is well-established, respected and influential.

Why would people's eyes fall out of their heads from seeing someone wear a Star of David? Are you sure that's the reason for their facial reaction? I'm guessing half the younger people these days don't even know what it is.

and before anyone begins to think badly, I say now that I am on the side of Israel and Jews. having said that, I condemn Nazism. But, please, do not try to create a bigger problem of what appears ....

thanks for your understanding

No these were not younger people , they were people in their 40's or older . I said the grocery stores are not setting up tables for Kosher foods anymore , they did not have a table set up for Passover this year. But they had tables set for Easter. No one in Market Basket could tell me where to find bottled
horseradish , they use to have a table set up for foods used during a Jewish holiday . Now you have hunt for it b/c it mixed in with all other foods .
Yes I ma sure I am correct about people reaction to my Star of David.
When I had Finlay I met a guy at the woods and we got talking about which vet me used. The guy was telling about his vet and how good he was, then he lead toward me and said " but he is a Jew." I backed away from him and told I am Jewish and left. Then there was that crazy lady that came up to me saying she just came from Iraq then started ranting how Jews were evil and the reason the whole country is in trouble . I did not use the word 'rampant '
you did , I said I feel is on the rise. KKK tried to recruit young people in my city a few years back by send flyers to people homes .

I'm really surprised with your neighborhood. Why do you think your area is so out of touch with things Jewish? I thought Massachusetts was progressive. When I lived in neighboring Connecticut it was strongly Jewish. Is this a recent change?

The city I live was mostly Irish Catholic and it stayed that way for years it's being to have more diversity . I hope in another 20 years race or religion will not be an issues here. . When I lived in Berkeley California with my daughter we had no issues with our religion or my daughter being biracial .
Small cities and towns seen to take longer to accept people they know little about out of fear or ignorant , that happen when my parents were one of the first Jewish family to move in their neighborhood.

ADL and Campus Watch stated so. anti-semitic on the rise. Too many leftwing on campus are pro-Palestinian and pro-Muslim.
