Do you drink water from bottle or from sink?

I used to think that bottled water is more healthy than tap water but when i found this link .

"20/20" took five bottles of national brands of bottled water and a sample of tap water from a drinking fountain in the middle of New York City and sent them to microbiologist Aaron Margolin of the University of New Hampshire to test for bacteria that can make you sick, like e. coli.

"There was actually no difference between the New York City tap water and the bottled waters that we evaluated," he said.

Many scientists have run tests like that and have consistently found that tap water is as good for you as bottled waters that cost 500 times more.

ABC News: Is Bottled Water Better Than Tap?

Unbelievable to that tap water is very safe as bottled water is. But I still dont like the taste of tap water anyway.

In our test of bottled waters, Kmart's American Fare

According on that report, that's must be 1989 or 1990, when one of grocery company has terminated and replaced into Super Kmart, plus I never seen that, that right.

You want clean city water? Go to either Seattle or Portland, they have excellent treatment water without need tap.

I use filter system in kitchen, save money. And good healthy!

bottled water is same as tap water... just filtered out and added vitamins.. nothing more...

i like tap water better than bottled water because tap water contains flouride(sp) which is good for your teeth.

Mark Cuban is right, that river in there is terrible which why tap water is terrible terrible. But, add filter, it taste same as bottled.

I have filter system in my household then we can drink from tap water.

In the United States there are no EPA regulations for bottled water. (EPA is Environmental Protection Agency.) Bottled water is not necessarily any safer than tap water as a result. So if it's a matter of taste, then go ahead and use bottled water. But if you're concerned about the safety of the water you drink, city/tap water is actually safer because cities do have flouride and other filters in place in their water treatment systems. You can find this information on EPA's website.

In cities like New York City and Toronto, it's perfectly safe to drink tap water. Their water quality is top-notch.

However, I can't say the same for many other smaller cities. In fact, many of them receive C and D grades when it come to water quality and yet they tell us to drink it if it's receiving poor grades.

Spring water (eg Poland Spring) isn't that bad. But stuff like Dasani and Aquafinia and stuff like that is simply filtered tap water. If you want filtered tap water go and buy one of those Brita water filter things!
My grandma said she knew a man who bottled and sold tapwater from his sink!

water

I drink spring water. But Ive been studying that distilled is best.

Did you know that microwaved water will kill plants?
It appears to reverse the spin of the electrons in
the water molecules. I only microwave coffee
when it gets cold, because its bad for me anyway.:giggle:

You can't protect yourself from everything.

Just a note about chlorinated water. Don't!
Chlorination in water is bad for people who
suffer from depression. So people who swim
in pools may make their depression worse.

If an elderly adult goes into the bathroom fine,
but when they come out they act as if they
have dementia or act confused, suspect chlorine,
but check under the bathroom sink and remove
chemicals to see if it helps.
