I am curious if anyone here borders a time zone line, meaning, if you go into the next town, you're in the next time zone. I am curious what it is like. You're friends are kinda on a different time than you and stuff. I always wondered. It must be funny, you leave your house at 2:00PM EST and you drive 5 mins down the road and arive at your friend's house at 1:05PM CST. Anyone experince this??

I have experinced that prostock. I live in Queensland Australia(we Never have daylight savings here) and when I go over the border into New South Wales their time is 1 hour ahead of my local time!!!!! Its a strange feeling and takes a while to get used to it. When the pubs (saloons) close in NSW they come over into Queensland cause our pubs are still open for another hour!!! I guess the cops love this!!!!! LOL. I have friends who live only 10 mins drive from the border.

I've experienced this..cuz I've been on a road trip from Virginia all the way to California.. it took me some time getting used to the different time zones..

If u live south Indiana while work in KY from april to oct. u will have to balance between 2 different times. have to put *mental note* on ur mind. if not able to balance then way to lost!!! I learned from my friend who been thru that kind of experienced.

Yes, when I took train or ship to England from Belgium or France, it was one hour earlier, and on the return, one hour later.

Yes, when I drive to Hoover Dam in Boulder City, NV, on the way to the line of Arizona. I go across AZ, then time will one hour ahead (Mountain Standard time).

I only live one hour away from central zone.. I am in eastern zone.. when I get to Louisville then I gotta change one hour early :)

sounds interesting especially that pub story lol
It happens around here. When I lived in Tiverton, the bars closed at 1am, but in Fall River, 2am. So at 1am, we go to Fall River. LOL
