BOOOYAH!!! (pssst - I got my new truck!)

Congrats! I love your truck that's one of my dreams to be in one. I am sure your extremely excited to drive it. Its a beauty love the color and all. You are getting a great deal on the monthly payment.

Awesome!

That's very nice! It would be so easier for you to put things in the back of the truck with grocery bags and things when you have some dogs inside your truck. It might be great if you have a landscape business someday. I just thought of it.

Your truck is a lot better than Subaru Baja because of the size. The truck looks brand-new. Your insurance is less and less on property tax. Smart move. Many people are buying fancy cars that they really can't afford them; many of them are foreclosing their luxuries. You got right time and right place to buy. Smile!

My Ford Explorer 2006 does not have what you have in the back truck.

I am sure that you will love it because it makes you feel security with your full wheels drive. It is worth it. The gas that we know is a problem. We are still waiting for a better hybrid truck for the next generation. I believe that some hybrid trucks this year is not quite perfect. The Prius that I sat with my new friend, and his car is really nice and it runs 55 miles per gallon which is hard for me to believe it. I would rather to buy a truck instead of a car. It is just my preference.

Very nice truck! Dixie. Congrats! :)

I'm sorry but I personally think Ford vehicles are terrible. Japanese cars are more reliable. Go TOYOTA! :o

Sorry mate, you got outnumbered, ford trucks such as Dixies are lovely than you think! :D

Im not complaining one bit! The truck get 21 mpg which isn't too bad - its comparable to my 92 Explorer that I was driving which was getting around 23-24 mpg when I had it in perfect condition. Ive driven a total of 100 or more miles this week (Went to Russellville 2 days in it to get the deal done, took my DD 'cruising' for a couple of laps in town, and driving back and forth to work and church.) I've only used half a tank of gas, in the 92 Explorer I would have had to fill it up by now. But I will say this it has a large gas tank because it cost me $65 USD to fill it up after driving off the lot. If I dont drive alot, I can see me filling up every other week or every week and a half. I live less than 10 minutes from work so gas isn't really going to kill me unless I drive long distances such as from here to Little Rock or Ft. Smith - which I dont do often anyway.

But I am EXCITED!!!

FC - are you going to Yell Fest this year? If so you and TJ should come down, I plan on taking my DD and you can come see the truck!

And Ford trucks are AMERICAN assembled - they keep jobs here in the States. I'd be pissed to see an American brand made and assembled in China.

Then you're good to go. :) One thing you have to remember, you might end up doing a lot of errands so you will have to drive it a lot, everyone does that once in a while. I drive 36 miles round trip commuting to work 6 days a week. That is about 216 miles a week so I must have a good fuel economy car for that. My car gets 30-33 mpg depending on traffic, speed, weather, etc.

I am sure she know this thats why she looked for a good truck with good mpg one she can depend on and be dependable for doing errands and going to work only 10 minutes away.

Wow NICE TRUCK, dixie!

When is YELL fest? let me know ok. :)

It is Mother's Day weekend - May 9-11. I will probably go Friday night or Saturday depending on the work schedule.

Just got done figuring up the mileage on the Sport Trac - wow. I only had to top it off twice during the entire trip.

I can get from here to Broken Bow OK on half a tank, and from Broken Bow to Denison I used roughly half a tank, so in essence, I could have driven straight through on a full tank. It is roughly 8 hours from Denison to here. Wow.
