I have a friend who is blind and profoundly deaf due to cochlear damage. Can anyone tell me if its worth him trying bone conduction headphones? Thanks guys (and gals)

Cochlear damage, it should not help. Before the CI I used aftershock, they were great at full volume. But my Audi at the time said they will not help...

Bone conduction absolutely will NOT work if he has damaged cochleas. If he had conductive hearing loss (middle ear damage) they would work perfectly but so would regular headphones turned up loud (since the maximum pure conductive hearing loss is around 50dB (as in a person born without an ear, or ear canal would have near perfect hearing with bone conduction hearing aids.)
