Blind woman attacked in bus

i had to look up the word "copacetic"

copacetic - –adjective Slang. fine; completely satisfactory; OK.

I'm glad the blind woman was rescued and taken care of. I'm also glad that the assailant is getting help too.

You know, There's the concern of the public safety whether that person has a mental issue or not. Heck, Even if a person who does not have mental issue still can go berserk for no apparent reason.

So, Either way, You just got to be alert of your surrounding at all times.

Very true Jolie. When I had O&M as a child, my instructor always taught me how to be aware of my environment. She also taught me how to "look defensive" and as if I own the street. She said this is especially important when I'm walking on my own or am in the process of crossing the street.

I feel sorry about what happened to the blind woman in the article and hope she is able to recover very soon.

I'm also very happy to hear that her assailant will be receiving help. :D

HearAgain brought up a point that those with mental illnesses are far more normal and in balance with themselves than those without.

I really do believe that most people with mental illness are more "normal" than those who do not have mental illness. They generally tend to be more compassionate and caring. They are also more in tune to their environment and the world around them -- or so it seems to me based on the people I've met over the past 18 years during my IP and PHP hospitalizations.

Glad the woman got away with shock! :( It was very courageous for other people to jump in front of the imposter!
