I agree, it is about enjoying the experience. And, I have no doubt that you are one of the polite ones....that's just your nature. Like you, when my son was smaller, I would go very early in the morning to avovid the biggest and rudest crowds, and then get back home before the crowds got too big and rowdy.:giggle: But now that he is an adult, and I'm not worried about getting that one special toy that everyone else is trying to get, too, I jsut prefer to sit out Black Friday at home!

Wow! Have a great time at Disneyland! No, you are not crazy for ging shopping at 4:00a.m. The one's that are crazy are the ones that push and shove and grab without thinking about the other people that are around.
 
My husband said that last year some people shot other people during a shuffle to get some items on Black Friday. :eek3:

I want to go on Black Friday just to see once what it's like otherwise me and my family just hang out today and chil and try and digest all that turkey
 
Yup but only in afternnon, still overcrowded for sure and took some while for me to got in mall then just look for something and bought cookies from Mrs. Fields, after that then shopped at Target for my needs.

Jilio, I stayed home during the early shopping hours, I am not crazy to wake up early is what I meant. :ty: I will have the best time at Disneyland than shopping :giggle:

No I didn't go shopping. Too damn early! I stayed home and was zzzz in my warm and toasty bed! hehe!

I was going to go to town to drop TJ's glasses off as its broke and my mom said better call and check to make sure they are open. Which i did and sure enough they are closed so we didn't go. I was hoping to check and see if any good deals at Walmart but didnt go so I will go by there Monday. :)
 
I never bother going out to shop on black friday due to the crowds and the traffic. What's the point to it, there's always some good sales time to time. We will not going to have a xmas season this year because of our budget.

I'm one of them who went shopping this morning at 5 am, and I wasn't expecting Toys R Us gonna be packed and crowd. It sure was so crowder than last year. :Ohno: One of the item I wanted to get Jordan was sold out in just 15 minutes what the heck!!? :pissed:

Black Friday is a must for me!!

I went to stores/mall, spent too much items

tons DVD are on huge sale, I bought like 20 DVD in total 190 dollars!!!

winter jacket of Philly Sixers from 100 dollars to 15 dollars (yea I am dead serious, its brand new, new logo, new brand, Adidas!!)

great Nike bktball shox shoes from 100 dollars to 50 dollars

DVD portable 85 dollars at Target

hmm what else I did buy? oh yea, around 20 DVD from ROH Wrestling site for only 195 dollars!!!

I gotta love Black Friday :mrgreen: but one thing I hate is too crowd in stores/mall :pissed:


EDIT: oh yea, forget one more thing, got 5 copies of Madden 07 (PS3) for 9.99 dollars at Best Buy!!!

Toys R Us don't sell shoes so far I know. It could be a collectible basketball or something. I used to work for Toys R Us for 1 1/2 years in late 90's.

Maybe it's action figures or something like you said. Who knows what it is, lol. Yeah there's pretty much saturated market in sport cards.
