Black Friday (Shopping Sale)

i do love black friday shopping because its too crowd! and opens too early
 
We've done Black Friday the last two years as a whole family. No one to watch our little ones that early in the morning. LOL. The years before, my guy used to go by himself while I slept. Now it's a family tradition. I dress kids in something they can go out in the morning and buy breakfast to go so in a way, a treat and go shopping. I've seen a lot of things described in this thread but so far, so good. Last year, the little ones had fun too and were ready for a nap by 11am. No problem, we took them home, and I went back out! Finished by 2pm. Of course, we have to get creative about hiding THEIR surprises we find on Black Friday...

There are good people in the masses. I remember a lady who was looking for something, the same thing my guy was trying to get..so I'd motion for him to get TWO. He couldn't. The lady left. Then my guy got lucky on the other side of the store. No lady. Oh well. I didn't need two. Who wants this? Oh Yeah! Lol.

I really like sleeping in until a decent hour but Black Friday is worth it.
 
At Walmart on black friday a couple of years ago two women got into a fight over a last video game(can't remember the name of it) :roll: I stay home on black friday
 
No way, I dont like the immaturity of the crowds with pushing and shoving around. I never experienced Black Friday, not my thing to rush with the crowd to get a sale item.

Problem with that on this special day is that they are all early birds, even camping outside the stores all night. :lol:
 
and beside..... craps they put up for sales... they're all POS.... unless you don't care
 
No, I won't go to shop for Black Friday Sale this year because too many people are pushing and shoveling around. I don't like crowd people at stores on Black Friday Sale. I went there about 10 years ago and they made me very nervous.
 
I used to go Black Friday for doorbuster twice times. I will not go this year. My husband will go with his sister and friends. In 2005, It was sub zero below and very cold out there. I hate it! I wore a thick jeans, double socks, fat coat, gloves, hat, and scarf. We had a sleepbags, dvd players, lawn chairs, coffee, snack and ipod. We were on 50 feet from front door. I really hate crowd people. But its god deal on sale.

My husband's plan to get a new Plasma at Best Buy this year. :)

I saw the video of youtube. It's not safe! Because no police car there. In my hometown must have a polices there in front door. The people can't steal the lane from front. There have a guards in everywhere at stores and location in my hometown.
 
A lot can change in 10 years.

Also, you don't have to go at 5 am when they open. You can just show up at 5:15 am or 5:30 am. A lot of the people will have gone in by now and there won't really be any stampedes to worry about. ;)
 
Not this Year....two years ago was bad enough that made me want to stay away from Black Friday. My family does it all the time though and I don't understand how could they enjoy it. Sure the deals are good but I rather buy little more than havingto deal with crowds and the fighting. It's insane!
 
I haven't been to a Black Friday event for some quite time now. The last time I went to one was 2 years ago. It was out of the world thing.

My 2 aunts, my sister, my cousin and I went together for the Black Friday shopping event and when we were at Kohl's, We saw 2 ladies fighting and one of the lady ended up biting another woman just because the item they both wanted was the last item on the shelf. I had to shake my head at that because it was just stupid to see how people are so desperate to get an item.

This year, I'll pass that and besides that, ordering stuffs from online is hassle-free. You also don't have to worry about the traffic and the stampede.
