My bicycle route for today will go like this:
I will start from home, and head east until I reach Clark. There, I will turn south and continue on Clark until I reach the intersection of Clark and Ridge, the last major stoplight I will encounter on my route until I get to Lawrence.
After Ridge, I will merge onto Ashland, still going south, and will continue that way until I reach Foster. There, I will turn west, and keep that way until I reach Foster and Ravenswood.
After I get there, I turn south again, and will stay south until I get to Lawrence. There, I have a choice to make: take a detour, or continue south? That's to be decided a little later on.
After Lawrence, I keep south until just before Wilson, where I must detour due to construction, and the detour will take me west 1 block, and then south another block before heading back east to resume my normal routing on Ravenswood. I will be on Montrose during the detour, and will turn south at Ravenswood.
After turning south, I will stay that way until I get to my final arrival point.
After my meeting, there's a good chance I will take the same routing back home.
Total miles: 5.4 to 5.6 total (One way; round-trip is 10.8 to 11.2 total.) Total time: 45 minutes.
