I don't think it's accurate. According to the Bible, the Earth is several thousands of years old. According to scientists, the Earth is millions... billions of years old.
Who's telling the truth?
If you want to call scientists liars, you might as well forget about all the other breakthrus that they have achieved.
If you want to believe scientists, you might as well call God a liar.

Funny way to think about WHY the Bible beginning was written the way it was:
"In the Beginning"
Warning.
This particular version is a bit rude and has some swear words in it. Some readers may even find it sacreligious.
I was trying to find another one but this one has better science references.
Sorry.
Shortly what I wanted to point out by posting this:
Science today knows lots more that the original writers of the Bible did about everything. They wrote what they knew, we know more now.

Evolution vs Creation...this is been going on for years. I truly believe God created this earth. This is what I believe.
Gen. 1:1-31
[1] In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
[2] And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
[3] And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
[4] And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

From Genesis to Revelation is possibly 7,000 years.
Secular scientists guess, guess, guess, guess, but they are always unsure. Christian scientists said from the beginning to now the earth is 6,000 years.

no, christian isnt against scientist. Its based on who is the scientist. God gave them brains to use and gave us likewise. Scientist who is a christian will give thanks to God who has given him/her. If scientist doesnt believe in God, they do it for self center pride and selfish. There is no such thing christian not a scientist, bec there are scientists is christians. But, one thing, there always be argumentive. Bec God is behind all of this as creation goes.
Please understand the difference between the "personal" computer and the "business" computer.If u people who are against scientists, then why are u using the computer? Thanks to scientists, we have today's technology.

It goes both way but you still can't deny that science changed people s way of thinking and stop church from gaining TOO MUCH POWER.
If christianity has it s own way, we would believe our world is flat, slave is moral act, women wld be still inferior to men, gays wld be banished from our society, list goes long... jeebus.

U agree to what? If u are using a business computer to get access to AD then u are not doing your job that u are getting paid for it so I am assuming that many of u have personal computers, right? U have to say thank u to scientists who invented computers so u can get on AD.
