NEEDHAM, Mass. —After more than three decades, a beloved employee of a Needham McDonald's restaurant is retiring.
Freia David has worked at the French fry station at the restaurant, located at 340 Chestnut Street, for 32 years. The restaurant is celebrating her Monday with an event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
David, who has Down syndrome, went to work for the restaurant through the Charles River Center, a nonprofit that helps adults with developmental disabilities find jobs, housing and recreational programs.
