Being Deaf poem

when i was in college which in 2003... i was in speech *communication* class with hearing students... the teacher gave me hard time about poem , required make one, cause i never trying make one before so i decided and tried tried to writing poem , do my best as i can!! it been like 4 hours to work on my poem ... so Successful to gettin throu on my poem paper .. so i carried it with me to that class which it was evening time. i was like nervously and sweated so badly. I was planning to do my purpose not to show up but i didnt , i am glad that i pushed myself to the class and do oral speech to students about my poem! when done.. they clapped and cried! i puzzled!! my teacher said Hoorayy, good job you made it throu this class! so i finally graduated in 3 weeks later after that happened! .. so i got A's on it! Whew! Thank god, NO ONE HELPED WITH ME on that POEM!!! wow wow! I feel good and proud myself!!! :wink:

BEING DEAF



Being deaf, I talk with my hands
Eeven though people some, they don't understand
Introducing myself, I am Amanda, you see
Nothings to strong for friend, just watch an believe
Getting to know one another, you & me

Depending on trust, honesty and love
Evelasting, relationships, and friends are like doves
Alway, pure, white, which is love from above
Friend are forever when push come to shove
