Welcome back. How about bringing us up to date with what you are spending time on now?
 
I am a full time student at Arkansas Tech University, studying English Education with a minor in TOEFL. Currently preparing to take the PRAXIS Core exam to enter into Stage II of the teacher education program at my university. I am no longer working in the poultry industry, and I am employed by the local school district as a substitute teacher. I am hoping to land a position with the university within the next 6-9 months if possible.

That sounds wonderful. As I remember it college was a big goal that was taking a lot of work to put all the pieces together to make it work.

What does TOEFL stand for though?

Subing seems to be a good stepping stone to full time employment as a teacher. There have been quite a number here that subed first and then got hired full time.

Thank you everyone. Yes it was a lot of work to make going to school full-time a reality. It's not been an easy path, but it is getting me closer to my dream job of being an educator.

I am having problem with Facebook. I get frustrated with it, but here on AD I have no problem with it. Strange. :hmm:

I guess with Window Xp, Microsoft probably don't want to do with my Window Xp. I have not decide whether to get a new Window like Window 7 or not. I am struggling thinking about what to do with Windows. I really love Window Xp. But I will still try to come to Facebook as I could. :(
 
Microsoft is no longer supporting Windows XP or providing service pack updates which means your Windows XP computer is vulnerable. It is recommended that you get Windows 7. I have found Windows 8 to be a headache and I prefer iMac over Microsoft. At home I use Windows 7. At the university, I use Mac OS X (I love Mac!) and at work I use Windows 8. Sorry that you have been having difficulty using Facebook. It might be that they have blocked you from logging in because you are in a different location and they may believe that your profile may be hacked. Usually, you have to answer a security question to get access to your Facebook account. I encountered this when I accessed Facebook from the hotel when I was in Oklahoma for my uncle's funeral.
