As far, i have seen in people in this world: chase for beauty nor heart? Im not trying to be Shakespeare in here. Im no Dr. Phil or Doc Love, whateverso characters in the sitcom. Im just me.

Ok.. in years, years, and many years that guys always go for BEAUTY to chase to and trying to be popular- because of: beauty n popular. Thats includes for girls go for: CUTE or MUSCLES man. Why cant we look inside of HEART of people's who desire for- true love where they need to have for their rest of their lives.

Personality beats beauty. There is has nothing to be with cute, muscles or whateverso, unless you find Personality do rocks with perferences then you're lucky. Sometimes, i dont understand why we just want to have perfect human being with packages, no we cant be perfect. We have flaws and thats not perfect. Often, i see ladies or gentlemen disappointed after the break-ups because of commons: cheat, personality, body, abuse of advantages, and many more that you can name it. If you want have long term realtionship, then go for personality to finds a true love before you step HUGE (if you know what am i talkin' about). Well, if you know the concept of: Beauty of the Beast? that's good example..Sometimes, they would look at ugly person with quote, "EW!" or "too ugly", at end up, he or she turned up from ugly duck into CUTE or WOW, im sure what they said against is what they: gulped or stunned. We cannot reject the greatest gift in the human being: HEART where its holds everything else that Human Being could have.

My parents always tell me when i grew up. "Heart beats everything else even beauty. Beauty will not last longer because heart will last longer. Heart is beautiful, they just blind and wasted by chase for apperance of beauty. Thats how much they forgetten"


What will you pick? Beauty or Heart...only your heart will tell-

Yes, I have noticed some people going after beauty not heart/personality.
 
I emphasize more on personality but I also like cute to go with it. Cute girl with personality and brain - I tell you this... that is very hard to find but rewarding!!!
 
I've always attracted to guys with an AB a six pack, and is all that hot, then the relationship didn't lasted very long because they had a huge ego, I realized that I was chasing the wrong kind, so I stopped going for the gorgeous guys and go for the personality a guy with a gentle heart. ;)

Lol! Would you go after 40 of ages and up in despite of your young age, no matter what their looks are, except for their hearts ? :)

I heard ( read ) some people say about the age is just number.....and, of course the looks ( beauty ) don't last when aging as gettin' older.

I would go after the heart, not the looks or beauty.

Why not? Its only numbers as i told in million of times (techinally not but concept). Its just digital numbers. If you know the history, look back in way, way, way ago during biblical times, there are many people that runs up in ages: up to 800 years old or so.. See, its only numbers BUT love runs up forever.

Look at Kutcher with Demi? Look at Nomar Garciarparra with Mia Hamm (8 years difference), you name it: there are MANY gap of ages in the relationship, know why? Love beats everything as we know: Love conquear all.

yes, there are ups and downs in the relationship but if you find the TRUE one, that'll be fine to go through those rocky start till experience. Thats relationship of the life going.

Dont forget that beauty is in the beholder. Some guys may find me blah, others may find me cute and others may think Im a goddess :)giggle:) but overall, heart is what makes a person truly beautiful inside and outside.

Heart is what I go for. Due to my experiences, I have come to see that looks never give me any indictation of whether they have a loving and big heart or not.

Of course it does help if they are cute but it is not a MUST. We cannot deny that sexual chemistry is important to us but we can learn how to look beyond their looks to truly have a healthy dating or serious relationship. I have dated shorter-than-me men, bald men, chubby men, too thin men, etc - I ignored all their superficial flaws and got great dates out of it :)

I see so many people putting up with their super gorgeous dates - I cannot fathom why they would want to put themselves through misery of dealing with a date who is egotiscal, downright nasty, bad mannered, narrow minded, selfish etc only because of their looks? I would love to know the answer to that!
 
I would pick heart because looks will only go so far, but the heart will take you to the end.

I am easily attracted to beauty, but in my eyes most people have beauty anyway. I also know that heart is more important than beauty... But, I guess I want both..:)

Gemma, i enjoyed your reply on this one. It is very intelligent curiously. So, let me to answer to your curious. Men have: Ego and PRIDE, of course where else that we can have? Well, i cannot speak for men but i can speak for my opinion: Pride made us to stay ego and stay above the standards what we have also, ambitions has drives us to reveal the biggest head so we can forget the truth and blah the lies that mouth speak. Also, as i have approached to ladies in the past, often, they will mention, "Only i like bad boys", thats main reason why guys will put "bad boys" to show and prove that we do. So, i know that often girls would find "bad boys" isnt really what they wanted and gulped then change into whatever they desire to find.

I like a mix of both.
It's true with both sexes....when they look great they have ego and spoiled cuz can hook up easy with others.
 
I always went after cute and tall handsome guys back when I was young... that didnt get me anywhere due to them being egoistic and all that stuffs. most of them left me for another or cheated on me with other women. jeez.

I have learned its better go for heart and personality... beauty is in the beholder. its true.. not the looks... but the insides that count... :)

i noticed that most guys/women who are low than average looks tend to have nice manners and so sweet.. usually they are the good man to be with instead of those who are very popular and egotic.

i dont know if you notice this?? maybe its me?? oh well.. :D
 
I dated good looking guys for years but the problem is their lousy ego personality. I would have to say a very few handsome guys out there are mature and respectful but not many of them grow up and stop cheating. I would rather date a guy with a wonderful generous kind loving "heart" and show me if he worthy of my trust and my love. Good looking don't always win out. But does good looks really matters? nah. Go for the person's personality. Good commitments....doing worth with the good intention for the better result....and you find the right person.
 
It doesn't help if you have alot of heart if don't take care of yourself (well-groomed)

you have two twins... both are not very pretty but both have a very good heart (always there for people)...

but one takes good care of herself and the environment around her-- she brush her teeth three times a day, get her hair neatly cut, fingernail polished, etc... make sure she have clean clothes and dishes, etc.

And the other does not. Never take real good care of herself and lets her hair grow out wild, not neatly-groomed, don't wear modestly makeup, neglect houseworks, etc.

Who you think would look better from the inside out? who you think who is more helpful. Who looks prettier? I say the one who is neatly groom because she helps other people have a positive outlook of life. The other make people feel depressed.
 
I choice heart. I was divoced to Cute. Our marriage was failing. I m marred to heart now.
 
Well, I have noticed that many women don't find me attractive looking. They just run off and don't talk to me anymore. I don't look THAT bad, geez! Women should be after personality and heart, not what a guy looks like. Same goes for guys who are after women, too. The funny thing is that in the wild, animals go for animals that are attractive looking.
