I've had a really really bad day today. I went to work this morning and got a phone call from work saying that my daughter is real sick and I needed to go home. So, I got home and my daughter complained of a sore throat so I decided to call the dr.. at 1:15 pm, I took her to the dr.. It turned out she has strep throat.. which she is a carrier.. gets it from school every time!!! so the Dr. decided in about 2 more weeks, the dr is gonna check and see if she'll need to get her tonsils out.
Well, the worst part.. I got a phone call.. several from family members at around 4.. My uncle was in a motorcycle wreck this afternoon. My uncle is my mom's brother.. (my mom passed away this recent May) So I go rushing to the hospital.. the whole family was there.. I knew it wasn't good. He IS still alive as of now but in intensive care unit. He's got head injury, ruptured his left ear drum (blood came out), broke all of his left ribs (front and back), left lung collapsed, left shoulder, shoulder blade, and collarbones are broken into pieces. There was not one scratch on him.. but mostly internal injuries. If he keeps moving around, they'll put him on the respirator to provent developing fluids into his left lung. He will not have a chance. If he stays heavy sedated and not move, he'll have a chance to survive.
As of what happened at the accident:
He was riding his motorcycle from his home (resides on the mountain) going downhill and it was curvy.. the white business van was going up and drove into the wrong lane and caused my uncle to run off the road.. by the time he got to the side of the road.. the tire stopped quickly and threw him off forward and hit an uphill steep.. hit his upper-left side and head-on.
I need for ya'll to pray for me and my family. We don't need another death in the family right now. That was my mother's brother and my uncle is the last son/brother to be alive to watch over his kids, grandkids, 2 neices and 2 great niece and nephew.
