Bad Hotels

Me either, Sequoias. It never happen to me. But once, I did sleep in the cheap Motel in White Lake, Michigan but they are very neat but no cold water also they have lousy laundry soap, use the soap that I'm allergic to it, so sad! During my ex boyfriend rent that room, not me! It's called White Lake Motel

:eek3: I don´t have any experience to stay in bad hotel in my life...

I once stayed at a hotel that had one bathroom for everyone to share on each floor (ugh), and the hotel bedrooms were crap... peeling wallpaper, smelled funny, and just was icky.

We had a bed that was broken (it was sagging in the middle) and the power buttons and channel switching buttons on the tv weren't working, I had to use a key to insert inside the tv to either turn on or off the tv or change channels.. ugh.

My mom, my daughter and I went to California to go to Disneyland. We stayed at this hotel that had character. The water had a mind of its own..would come on whenever it felt like even though we turned it on. The hot water would come in spurts and go away and then appear again while taking a shower. The elevator was very jerky that my mom and I couldnt even talk to each other. The beds were clean but we found dead huge beetles under the bed. The best of all..when we got in the elevator, other a man with 3 women who wore next to nothing came in the elevator and they were drunk or high. They started feeling each other up and my 8 year old daughter was watching the show so I covered her eyes. We told the manager that we wanted a refund so we got it and went to another hotel nearby. Looking back, my mom and I can laugh about it.

Seeing those pics makes me not want to stay at hotels anymore. :ugh3:

i refuse to go to those hotels.. this is why i love to stay in big brand name hotels like

bestwestern, holiday inn, days inn, doubletree, and so on.

after my family sleep in cheap motel in wisc. it is in my mind for life.. cuz of the bed is awful, carpet stains, floor stains, and many more.. they choice it because all hotels are full.

i wont slept with dirty hotels!!!!!!!!!! yuck!

You need stay away from motel and hotel that's exclusive to local area or small companies.

Go to Holiday Inn, that awesome. :D

Tell your bf about wanna sleep at cheap motel in Miami, in around Little Havana.

Weve got a lot of clients living in hotel rooms on Beach blvd with scenes like in the pics.

These are low budget ($150 a month). We been painting them up with free paint from the county hazmat recycler and getting them better furnishings free from the craigslist.

I'm very proud of making like 2 dozen rooms looking like the pics into real decent looking rooms.

I had slept in bad hotel at St. Augustine, Florida in 1994. My dad got complained about dirty on the wall and bathroom. He told the front desk to get moeny return. The lady was so creepy and bitch. She was mean and careless how to get take care of rooms. The swimming pool were dirty. My parent and I moved other hotel at Englewood near to Pier and Lion Bridge. It's cleanliness and comfortable.

I prefer sleep in nice and clean! I went to Castle Hotel Doubletree in Orlando. It's very beautiful and expensive. It's great romantic with my husband on honeymoon. :)

I don't know how these hotels can operate and make money in America. I went to a hotel that is supposedlly approved by AAA.

Travel Lodge hotel charged a 100 dollars or more, and there were no towels except the small ones with toothpaste on it. The probably re-hang towels they don't see dirty. Gross! We went to the housekeeper who don't wear uniforms for clean folded towels.

I don't even know if they wash the bedsheets and covers. The covers were really old. They don't seem to have updated since they opened that hotel.

I went to a Howard Johnson Hotel, and the bathtub had stains. There was a missing towel rod. The room smelled of food .

Eww at the bad hotels link. Very horrible pictures to see.

I haven't experienced to see any of those horrible things at hotel yet.

Was it a hotel or a motel?

Hotels are usually all inside and motels are where all rooms are accessed from outside. Motels are usually dirtier than hotels.

I am sorry. I mean A1A Motel. It's bad and dirty.

There's other situation in 2001 when visit Orlando and 2004 when visit PCB, 1 was in vacation house and other in nice condo, both of them have bad TV, I had trouble to settle the CC, CC won't work then I had watch it without CC, also 1 TV was poor picture quality and little colored snowy. There's no broadband internet or WiFi at this time, I had use dial up via AOL, very unusual and slow, online video weren't dominant at this time either. Recently, I don't have problem with vacation house in Orlando that I slept in last summer.

I hopefully that wouldn't sleep in bad hotel when relocate back to LA in Dec 2008.

I believe that dept of health is suppose to inspect in hotel or motel, if any contain issues then should be fixed or wouldn't allows guests to sleep.

Haha, that's cool pictures.

Just go to Chinhuahua, Mexico. There were plenty of cockroaches underneath the bed where I used to sleep. I killed them all with my shoe. Actually, the hotel room wasn't too bad. Way better than those pictures. :D
