AMSTERDAM – A dead baby was found in a car in Baarle-Nassau today. The boy was 11 months old, a spokesperson for the police has confirmed.

The car was in a parking space near a public primary school on the Cor van der Bokstraat. The baby was discovered at about 2.15pm on Wednesday.

The mother's identity is known and she is being provided support by family and friends. The police do not want to say anything about the cause of death at the moment.

A baby also died last week in the Belgian town of Halle when his mother left him behind in the car. She had forgotten to drop him off at day care and the 5-month-old died of dehydration because of the high temperatures in the car.

That's extremely irresponsible. When my kids were much younger, even if i had to pump gas or get ice or something real quick, i would always bring them with me, i would always take that extra few minutes and unbuckle them and take them in, i knew when i gave birth to them they would be a life long responsibility. i always had them with me. i didn't care how quick i would be.That's ""B.S""

P.s. Maybe the state should evaluate them and see if they are fit to be parents, maybe they should have that right taken away from them for awhile . Bet you then that would never happen aqain.
Mistakes like that don't just happen when you know it's hot outside and you have kids. i always had my kids with me, even for the little things.

yep I always take my baby girl with me and never leave her out of my sight. I would never ever leave my child in hot heated car or alone by herself. There are so many irresponble parents still doing that. They need to use their common sense to realized how dangerous that is to kids and pets. :fart:
 
It's so sad to know that some parents don't have any common sense when it comes to parenting. I am blessed to have a wonderful wife who is a great mother to our 2 daughters! God Bless her love and motherhood to our 2 girls!
 
It can happen to you and many others including myself . I feel for the parents who were under a lot of stress and forgot their own child in the car. I once read the article .. It may be considered to set up the child alarm seatbelt or something .. to remind every parents that the child is in back of the car. I once watched the show .. The father felt horrible losing her own baby daughter. Miscommunication with his wife and so on -- somehow later after his work, his daughter was found dead in his car. He is acquitted but will be scarred for the rest of his life. He encourages many parents to put their suitcase or totebag in the back .. connected to the baby seatbelt. It works. My heart goes out to every parents who have lost their baby. I really can't blame them but they are humans like us. If the person goes to the bar or casino and leave the child or baby behind. That's different story.

Yeah I second that.. I got the same stories that we read them before.. It's pretty scary if you forget your own child whiel you are too stressful for chories, do stuff, and etc.. I just wish parents have more common sense for any reason.. =/
