My dog(used to), Lucy did run away. My parents and I got freak out, out of blue she came back to my home same like she DO remember. Dogs COULD remember where their home is, Dogs are STILL smart same like Cats even they could be smart than Cats in some of ways. Whole of animals(Cats, Dogs, Rats, Horses, Elephants, etc) are smart in their own ways. And, I thought you know about that because you are a dog breeder? But I already saw my dog, Lucy running away to being around in the neighborhoods and I let her to do that because I knew she will come back no matter what it is. Even, she's waiting for the road to be EMPTY and no car, she will run back to home. She is very smarter, and when she and I met first time, and she QUICKLY knew that I'm deaf and she started carry the bowl of her food and water to me or my family that she want it to be refill with food or water and even barking at me and run to the door which that means she need to go outside to pee or poop, and even she will pull my pants or tag my leg with her paw then walking to the front door which that means someone is at the front door. Everything that like I told you about Lucy, she learned about them on HERSELF and no one teach her, we asked her last owner that we got her from and he said he DIDN'T teach her like that way! And when my mom gave her up for some reasons to new owner, Lucy is STILL doing that way! I'm very proud of her but of course, miss her.

That's cute of Cat to doing that, she's pretty smart but I don't know if she learn on herself or her owner teach her to doing that...
