I would really like to stick with 100x100, but I also want what my members want and make them happy. I wouldn't mind 150x150, but 200x200... :ugh:

Alex, i think 150x150 better than 200x200..
why not 150x200?

Alex can ya go for it with 150x150 ?? or add two choose 100x100 or 150x150 let members pick it ?? what ya think ?

My gawd everyone fighting over the size... I'm on 56K.. Likely Heather said no patient if choosen 200... I'll have no patient to loading the pages... I'm gonna for 150!!! I think Darlin Tweety suggested a good idea to let members choose the size in their control panal instead of everyone fighting over the size.

I not think so alex would let make two diffrent size 100 or 150..
 
I do rather choose 150 x 150 pixels. :thumb: And it would save your time for load quick than take a waiting forever . :ugh:. Not worth it! I think it is more definitely size of pixels.:D
 
I personal like 100x100 or less, it's a friendly to me and for dial-up user. Nearly half billion user are on dial-ups than cable/cable/t1.

150x150 is okay-okay but it will still slow down, and ever for animation, it will pull worst delay of time.

200x200, *bang* you can't patient like that. 50kb per avatar on 20 posts (20 avatars or less), about more than 1 MB per page, I don't think I would appericate like that. And dial-up user, too. :ugh:
 
im happy with mine as long as ur happy with urs... doesn t matter what the size u use on the avatar its how u made it to be seenable .....
 
Look at Steel's avatar. It's nice and big. It's also clear and easy to see. Even the details are good. My computer is at 1280 x 1024 pixels and the 100 x 100 pixels avatars are still easily visible. If you were to view that on a standard 800 x 600 pixels setting, it would look pretty big. That's why we should keep it at 100 pixels. Another thing we need to think about is the memory size of the avatars. The memory size increases almost exponentially when the pixel size increases. For instance, a 500 x 100 pixels image will be somewhere around 200 kb in size while five 100 x 100 pixels images side-by-side will be under 100 kb in size.
