Have you ever watched any documentaries on career criminals, mass murderers...ect...?
I have and they all state the same:
" If I ever get out, I will be right back in because I will kill someone as soon as I am released because that's my nature"

" This is home, I don't want to be in the outside world "
and a lot more quotes from those criminals such as The Iceman and other notorus criminals that are still alive in prison today. They even say themselves they were cheated out of the death pentalties. look em up, watch em. lots of info on both sides of the stories.

There are many prisoners work - when they do work so they will receive a reduced sentencing for good behavior.

In bold - yes, only they are real.

When you break a law - especially felony so your life will be ruined permanently.

We have lousy rehabilitation program and the recidivism rate is high.

For death penalty, the state prosecutor have to follow the procedure and the judge have to approve it before trial start. The jury need to approve if death penalty is appropriate punishment for murderers - they have decide between death penalty or life imprisonment with no parole. If victim's families don't want death penalty so state prosecutor will seeking life imprisonment - like in my state.

Agree, within the prison, but those who are never leaving... they wont do anything if they don't have to. The few who do, choose to do so out of boredom.

Glad you said this because this is where your mind set is. Unlike you, I worked with cops that worked in prisons, and like the prisoners, they were prisoners too when the doors shut. For someone that spends much of your day online, you claim to know a lot over people with real life experience in this area. I've visited a jail and I can you tell homeless people should be so lucky. It's a shame your not as passionate about the victims as you are the killers.

No one should get off for "good behavior." If the victims can't climb out of their grave for their good behavior, then neither should those that ended their life. That's a farce, being a model prisoner shouldn't get you a get out of jail card. It's being a model citizen that keeps you out of jail that should be the motive.

Good behavior is not going to undo a violent crime. This is why the victim
family going to the hearings to made sure the prisoner does not get a reduce sentence .
 
Well if a crime happens to certain people who bark up the trees, Id love to see how they react and how they respond to a crime committed towards them or someone they love. Its a whole new ballgame when it happens to you.

They are punished for kill someone or other serious crime, so life imprisonment isn't pleasant at all.

No open world, no good food, no comfortable bed, no video game, no movie theater, no private shower, no Walmart/Target, no fast food, no beach, no hunting, no freedom, etc.

That's not true - you made false assumption about my life so that show you are truly pathetic and frivolous.

I know about jail and prison very well since my cousin got arrested on burglary charge and possession of heroin and one of my old coworker that I used work with him. He's currently work at maxmium security state prison that about few miles away from my old workplace. He shared about his experience at his work and it was one of most stressful job in his life. He told us that prison is no place for us to go and it was very nasty.

Like I said in previous post, I'm college student at four years university and I was out of school for summer break. I'm spending my life to do my hobbies, including chatting with members on AD forum, do chores, make dinner for my family, run to errands, research on random topic and real discussion in different forums.

I do have my life so you don't know about my real life.

I support victim families make decision about death penalty or life imprisonment. I'm personally don't believe in death penalty but victim families are one of most important that make decision.

You don't understand - my post doesn't applies to inmates who receive life imprisonment or on death row, however some inmates who receive life imprisonment do work to get out of boredom.

You misunderstood my statement - it doesn't applies to inmates who received life imprisonment.

If inmate gets 10 years in prison for felony theft so when they work and good behavior, so they get their sentence reduced.
