Hello alaska peeps... i'm wondering this.. since a friend of mine told me this....

My friend told me that Alaska is one of the nation's top state with percentage of people who are alcholic.. is that true?
 
dunno....

But it could be very well be...much easier for 'em to keep their beers cold in those igloos!! (stockpilin' it, etc...) :rofl:
 
They probably couldn't read the warning labels on the liquor bottles! I guess we will never know until someone from Alaska reads this.. :\

hey DeafScuba I have news flash for you. The Alaskans are drinking Minnesota made beer. Guess we know who to blame. :P

I remember, my older son’s ex girlfriend who lives in Russia. She told me a lot of people drink Vodka due to keep their bodies warmer and relax. I assumed, Alaskan people drink the alcoholic to keep them warmer. Also, I heard the Eskimos couples love to sleep in naked under the igloo because of the skin to skin warmer than pajamas or clothes.

Actually, I don't believe alcohol keep your body warm, it only make you feel warmer, but it won't protect you from freezing your butt off.

A lot of people smoke up there too as well.
 
Is that true ?? As for the Emkimos kiss make full body contact. Rub the side of your lover's nose against your nose using small circles. :)

Vodka may helps your nuts to prevent strink ! :naughty: Smoking Pot is more natural than drink the vodka ! Mellow is awesome !

During winter time, Alaska spend more time in the dark. Make some people feel sad, depression, or become insane. Possible lead to some people drink alcoholic. That's my theory.

During summer time. bright mostly time and barely night time.

Similar to my friend who used live in SLC. he said he feel down during cold season time. Cuz of the moutains around that city. Make more darker early than other cities. Make me think of Alaska is worst especially winter time.
 
Whoa! thats a new one on me! didnt know this, well, my theory is ummm..Alaska is always soo cold and always snowing, the days are very short so can you imagine living there? It would have to be a ultimate B O R E D O M!! LOL! My brother used to live there and he and his family hated it there so he begged to get transferred outa there!

Love to curiouis their cultures.. What makes you think they are ??
Get your own eyes and pay visit in Alaska... That would be benefits for you find cool challenge and soveniers(sp)..
I would love to go and pay visit there.. probably likely staying eg: a week or wha..ever depends on..
I love travelling.. LOL

I am Wondering who live in ALASKA, There good jobs to make good salary? and There cheap Apt to Live in? If whom know abt this and pls reply this. :)
 
I noticed that Alaska is a lot closer to north pole than Norway is on a map.
