Att annouence prices on 3G phone and plans

I'm currently waiting at att store, there's around 40 or more people are on line, I'm in middle of it but really pretty long time.

Weather isn't bad, just little hot and feel little windy.

I'm watching the the simspons on my MacBook Pro, just only 40 min to left.

People in NYC, Orlando, Tampa, DC, Philly, Atlanta, Miami, Boston and other area on EST are getting iPhone 3G right now.

there it goes... :) sorry i couldnt announce this morning. too busy at work... ah well. glad you find more info about iphone 3G.

BEST of LUCK to those new iphone 3G owners. :)

Just update, I'm on 3rd to go, soon to be 2nd, it need take up to 30 min for me to grab iPhone 3G, very long processing and some activation are messed up, need be while and fix it.

Att gave us a free bottle of water due hot weather, I felt sweat, usually lower back of pant.

I thought that's odd because news been told that required activate at store. Now, I have hear several people being allow go home and activate when iTunes server is up.

Bad news, iPhone 3G is sold out at our store and we can on order to pick up the iPhone 3G on up to 10 days, we are still waiting because computer system was down and manager had called att office to get fixed.

When arrive at store, I will get info via email to pick it up, I was felt pfft after sold out because few guys are cut on line since att manager don't care.

That's really wasteful of day and unluckly for me.

Boult, did you got iPhone 3G yet?

paceman: that is bummer ! i saw more news online that those activiation systems in europe and usa crash due to high traffic. lol.

one brawl where ppl standing on line happened in orlando, fl. lol.

I planned to buy it until I read the Rogers Wireless' rate plans on Apple iPhone 3G a few weeks ago.

I rather wait until they change the word 'limited' to 'unlimited' in their data usage.

yea good point i agreed. Canadian mobile plans arent cheapa !

what they offer 6Gb data plan for iphone is good enough for iphone user becaue i have surfed heavily a lot, email a lot, have used AIMs and i use Youtube.com often - my average data usage per month is 500mb more or less.

So i think 6gb data usage per month is plenty for mobile user IMO.

I was the last in the line at one store and was said I may not get it and was told to go to other bigger store that has more in stock so I went to other store... I got the 16G initially I wanted black but black is popular so it ran out fast before the 16G white did.. so I went ahead for white instead cuz I am already inside. They had plenty of black 8G.

Had I arrived at first store an hour early then I may be in middle of line that is guaranteed to get Black 16G oh well that's okay :) (I arrived there between 8:15 and 8:30 cuz I walked... the AT&T rep. told others who arrived behind me that I am last guy that *may* get it or not then they all left. I did get inside to find out which store that has more and once I was told which then I am off!

Now, I am about to hook it up to my iTunes (the rep didn't open the box to hook it up and said I can do it at home.. althought I am already activated since they scanned the barcode.. it's done.. I did open and try to use it.. it needs me to connect to iTunes first before using it fully...

Later then! :P

There's still plenty of iPhone 3G at Apple store in certain area since all iPhone at att are sold out, no surprise about att got less stock.

I can't buy iPhone at Apple store because of my eligibility requirement that can purchase at att store, however I can do it on new account and pay less than $175 ETF on my existing account, also $36 activation, that's not worth for me.

Apple store at Woodfield, N Michigan Ave, Northbrook and Old Orchard are still stock in, even N Michigan Ave has alot of them.

In next year, I will eligible to upgrade into next gen of iPhone at Apple store in next year if long iPhone owner.
