At&t tap

AT&T is that way. They don't seem to update old plan or old users, so they leave them with outdated plans. It is both good and bad thing. Because of AT&T's behavior, I can use unlimited data UMTS/HSPA with any non-usa smartphone for only $10 a month. They haven't updated the policy so it works for me. I have no opinion for LTE yet, what good is LTE if it burns more money in my pocket. :)

My opinion, to update the TAP plan everyone of you on TAP plan should write email or statement to AT&T to ask them to review and update it. Get the complete deaf community involved and post it on AT&T's facebook, email them, make a movement and I think it will happen. People were able to do it with Verizon.

Yes, AT&T TAP is only for iPhone 3G, 3GS, 4.
4S and probably later 5 so far not supported. No androids or blackberry or nokia etc. If you try any other phone you will get regular data plan.

Has anyone had Tmobile?

I decide to purchase Sprint iPhone 4S upgrade from HTC EVO 4G due my 2-years contract has been expired. I know AT&T's 3G speed is better than Sprint 3G/4G network.. = /

You can wait to get iPhone 5 in June or autumn. It s may be LTE network, 4" display, in-cell touch, and liquidmetal panel, rumor said.

You got replied message from AT&T TAP yet?

I saw AT&T TAP page today, I think they got my message:

Customers interested in the TAP plans for iPhone must qualify by completing the Text Accessibility Plan (TAP) Application and Certification Form, (TAP_disability_certification_form.PDF, 115 KB). TAP plans are available for all versions of iPhone.

Customers interested in a TAP plan for iPhone will need to follow regular iPhone activation procedures. Once iPhone is activated, the customer may contact our National Center for Customers with Disabilities to change his or her plan to one of the TAP plans for iPhone.

Maybe this can be used for iPhone 4S and iPhone 5, android and blackberry?

4G LTE network may be launched for new iPhone 5 this fall. Same plan as 4G???

I'm not sure right now. I know hearing LTE and HSPA price are the same, $30 for 3GB/mo data. Know any deaf users with LTE on AT&T??

Some AT&T android smartphones have it, I think Samsung Galaxy SII Skyrocket LTE, HTC Vivid LTE, some more models.

I will say my personal guess is YES.
iPhone 5 should follow same price as HSPA+UMTS due to price of LTE vs HSPA/UMTS are same for ATT with hearing plan.
So why not TAP price of LTE is same for speed.
