Asthma and Bronchitis

I had Asthma about 22 years ago. I knew, that would know my asthma not away. I always take the spray "Allergospasmin" for asthma and the medicine "Cetirizin". That is for against animals. it helps me, better than nothing. i know too bad, but i am accustomed to it. i am all ok!

oh poor you! same as here. i have Asthma too. when i was 12 yrs old and took a inhalier every morning and evening. now, not more. i take only Asthma Spray "allergospasmin" that is from Germany. i tell you, i had never antibotics. i dont know why?

True, I saw Germans use Asthma Spray, not antibotics like what many Americans have here... It look like that they use antibotics, not Asthma spray... ?

I have problem with bronchitis for years... most in winter time... I know I will get asthma one day but I would never take antibotics but spray...

i have problem with bronchitis few years ago with a fever and i went to the doctor and got Amoxicillin

Yea my Bronchitis is finally getting better. i'm down to using my inhaler twice a day so i feel much better thanks everybody

yep, i notice there Americans took the medicine antibiotics, here Germany take too, but rarely.

I always get Bronchitis during winter time. From mild to serious. The DR gave me anti-biotic. It is the best one!! Any medicines from over the counter at the store never work..

I have asthma too. I use albuterol and flovent. I get sick every winter too. I find that when the weather is cold, I need to use scarf to cover my nose and mouth so that the cold air would not aggrivate my coughing. Also I drink plenty of hot teas and have chicken noodle soup. When my arthritis chokes me up, I go to ER to have shot and breath thru steamer (don't know what it's called). The steamer helped open up my lungs so I could breathe easier. I go to ER maybe once or twice a year...not bad. Going to allergic specialist would be good so that you would know what you are allergic to. When I eat grapes or almonds, my throat would choke up and my body feel itchy. So, I don't eat those. I usually handle asthma fine on my own, but do go to doctor when my medicine doesn't seem to help. Sometimes medicines need to be changed.

I have acute asthma now, but before, I had real bad asthma. Only thing I did was play a lot and played sports that required me to focus on my breathing more then anything. I was on the wrestling team and did a lot of swimming. I think that has helped me a lot too. I still get a tight chest every now and then and have a hard time breathing, but it to the point I never use a inhaler. The last time I used one was almost 15 years ago. I stopped using them between the age of 10-13 but only used it on odd events.

I have had a history of chronic asthmatic bronchitus growing up. It wasn't so much a problem while I was active, doing sports and etc. I just had to be careful when it was really hot and air pollution was an issue. It was more a problem when I got sick with some kind of upper respiratory problem. Since I reached my late teens/early twenties, I haven't been bothered by it. I suspect it won't bother me until I get rather old and then it will probably be the way I go out of the world. :(

Try to avoid icecreams, cold drinks and cold food if you have asthma. Try to get warm from gas-heater if you live during cold weather. Warm or hot weather makes you feel comfortable. Cheer-up...Take care.
