Asl vs signed english

Jane, if you know about PSE so you shouldn't have an issue to watch my vlog, all are available on FB.

She doesn't know or speak PSE or ASL as far as I remember/know.. but only knows of PSE and ASL. She might have learned or attempted to years ago but no one around to speak ASL/PSE to.

My signing style is closer to PSE also.

Ducky has got it right. I took beginning sign two different semesters at the local junior college back in the 1980's. Neither time did I make any contacts to learn more and actually get good enough to use either. I do know "of" both in the sense that I know they both exist and that there are differences.

That's ok, that's remind me about I forgot with Spanish because of not getting involved with Spanish communities that I can use Spanish.

My Spanish professor encouraged me to find a group to discuss in Spanish or it could forget easily, just like all languages, including sign language.

Most people sign ASL with little of SEE.

SEE is getting less common after you leaving the elementary school (not deaf school), but some people still use some SEE nowadays.

Are you sure about whichever is ASL or PSE? It is easy to confuse between two, so funny, I thought that all of my sign language was ASL.

I sign same way as you do. It was interesting to hear some people's thoughts on your language.

I just asked them for feedback, just curious.

but you can call whichever if you follow same sign styles as ASL, but some people will tell that's not ASL, that's not common.

Most people seem don't care about ASL or PSE - they are basically same with sign styles.
