I'm Looking for someone to help me improve my ASL. I'm in my second second semester so I'm pretty much a beginner and need someone who is EXTREMELY patient. I've met a couple deaf students at school I see occasionally so that is a good start but hoping to meet more people to get more practice. If interested or if you know of any other resources you think might be helpful please let me know.

My favorite sites are.....
Lifeprint.com
Aslpro.com

Hope these help and good luck!!!

Thanks for the reply. I have been using both sites. An interpreter at school told me aslpro is not updated and the signs are not accurate. I use it mainly for the fingerspelling quizes. I'm really hoping to meet deaf or hard of hearing to get more practice.

I use aslpro.com only for fingerspelling also. Sounds like your headed in the right direction!!

aslpro is actually a pretty good site.

I only mention this because I don't want any students who might read this to be put off from using it as it can be very helpful to them.

Wirelessly posted (Blackberry Bold )

Aslpro is, in most of the USA & Canada very accurate. Certain areas have more regionalisms in their ASL, so the website might not work as well for them.

Where I live aslpro is much more accurate than lifeprint ... YMMV
