Hi Oceanbreeze,
I can't help but so curious are you blind? I don't know if I have seen it somewhere around here in AllDeaf that you are. If I am mistaken I apology.
What your favorite movie or TV shows and why?
What the meaning of Life means to you?
Have you ever lied to anyone that was close to you?
Have you had anyone that was close to you passed away? Did you take it hard?
If you had a choice to make between spider man or Superman Who would you choose and why?
Have you ever been betrayed?
Are you single, Married or Divorce?
What your age?
How is life treating you so far?
What your best holiday and why?
What do you like most? Summer, spring, fall or winter and why?
I will come back and ask you more questions later.
Oy! Someone decided to get alittle person on me, here! lol
But, Okay ... I'll take things in order:
1. LOL Cheri! You're curiousity is forgiven. But, no. I'm not blind. I'm also not deaf, but I DO have a disability. I am paralyzed due to a congenital birth defect known as spina bifida. Simply put, I was born with a hole in my spine. And, I am in a wheelchair.
2. I like Judging Amy. The show depicts a single Mother raising her daughter in a traditional family setting. I like the idea of the family values theme along with the "Strong Woman" theme that the character Amy depicts.
3. Life, to me, means being able to call your own shots. And, not have someone dictate to you what you *should or shouldn't do*.
4. Oh yeah, I have. I think we all have from time to time. But, awhile back, I had quite a "reputation" for playing alittle "fast and loose" with the truth. Eventually, I grew up. I realized that what I was doing/saying was hurting me as much as it was hurting those I was lying to. So, I stopped. Took awhile to earn back respect, but I have. Now, I am honest. But, I won't use honesty to hurt someone. I believe you can be truthful, but also not hurt people with the truth. I am not someone that always believes that "the truth hurts", because, it doesn't always have to.
5. Yes, to both. My child sweetheart committed suicide in 1995. He's been gone nearly 10 years, and I STILL am not over his death or how he died. And, I don't think I ever will be.
6. Spiderman. I'm SO OVER Superman! lol
7. Yes. More times than I can count, but then, refer up to question 3. I "gave back" a good bit of what I got, too.
8. I'm single, and very glad to be single! I think I would drive a partner of mine up the freaking wall! (Or, they would drive ME up the freakin' wall! lol)
9. I'm 36
10. Life is life like I said somewhere else in the thread. I've been dealt some blows, but I roll with it. Life has taught me that no matter what happens, you just can't lay down and die. I think, if I learned anything from my friends death, it was that. In my mind, he gave up. And, I just can't do that!
11 & 12. I'm gonna take both of these together, because, they are similiar. I like Easter, because, the weather is warmer. Of course, I'm speaking of NE weather. Down here, where I am now, it don't feckin' matter, because, we're hot year round! lol
Good questions, Cheril! You made me think!!! I like that!
