Ask JClarke Anything...

If the gas gotten too expensive, would you go back to skateboarding? Perhaps to add on a engine on to skateboard and pay only $5 -10 per week on gas. :giggle:

I'll just ride a mophed instead.

Um, sorry mate, I must have missed that, 'mate' is a australian sland for 'friend'

yes. i know what it means. but why use a word that also means "reproductive partner"?

JCLARKE ARE YOU TELLING ME YOU WANT ME TO BEAR YOUR CHILD!?

Thanks for the correction, Ozzie

August, no - that's something of another meaning, but I go by the Australian slang, buddy

All Aussie, did you climb Sydney Harbour bridge before?

I know what August means. Haha. Sometimes it is interesting how other countries outside of the US that even with similar English language, they still have their own flavors of the language.

JClarke - will you be my mate?

This is a trick question! LOL. If I mean mate in Aussie, then it means friends. If I mean mate in American terms, then you are going to be my third baby's daddy! ;)

(Psst. Don't worry.)

Unfortunately, I haven't been on the Sydney Harbour Bridge yet - since it is expensive nowdays.

Hehe - deafbajagal

I'm old now, I was in my high school teens when I was a skateboarder.. it stopped when I jumped into a car. :P

Ahh, retired skateboarder, im current skateboarder but im no Tony Hawk or Bam Margera. I still can skateboard anyway. I have like 4 or 5 boards and still fresh BUT if you ask me broken boards, sure i have several and keep them. I want them to be memories that i have through years.

First time, i broke my board in half because i tried to flip up and went wrong side, *broke* dammit. In few hours later, i went to store and buy new one. Still love it-

Since I have seen a lot of "ask me anything" threads, so I thought I would give it a go as I am from australia, maybe you peeps from the states would be curious to know anything what is it like in australia etc....

So help yourself posting up questions! :D
What is really down under and do you guys really put shrimps on the barbie?

Is the sign for Sydney based on the shape of its opera house? Is it the same sign, in Austrailian Sign, for irony?

Where is best vacation spot in Australia?

Hmmmm - hard question, I will have to say, Sydney for the americans :)

You are right. JClarke showed this sign for Sydney to me.

Not the Opera House, Wokamuka - The sign is similar to the Sydney Harbour Bridge (Not in ASL) but yes, same as in ASL 'irony'
