Jiro,
Yes, the BrailleNote GPS is awesome. It can give me street names, directions (north, south, east, west or left/right), speed limit of the vehicle I'm traveling in as well as the names and addresses of businesses or residences that are in my immediate vacinity. I can also input the name of any city in the United States and it will allow me to "look around" to find out what is there. In addition, I can specify a particular destination and the BrailleNote will tell me how to reach it. Before I received my CIs, I used the BrailleNote GPS to travel on the bus independently. Thanks to my BrailleNote, I didn't have to worry about being unable to hear the bus driver call out my stop because I could sit back, relax and read the Braille display.
Sounds really neat!
