Conference, Apple has taken a rather large shot at Microsoft's Longhorn, the next major release of Windows. In its boldest move to date, Apple is displaying several banners for Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger" at the Moscone Center in San Francisco that make it quite clear the company's feelings toward Microsoft and the software giant's upcoming operating system. The banners, which are the first known items that show the new Tiger graphics, read: "Introducing Longhorn." "Redmond, start your photocopiers." "This should keep Redmond busy." and "Redmond, we have a problem.

There are 4 photos down the page, enjoy them.

not suprising, cuz Microsoft is a copycat and they don't have innovations of their own, I noticed many features in Windows come from Mac OS X, good luck for them copying OS X 10.4 currently in preview stages, and might be out in 1st half of 2005, that's before Windows (longhorn) will be out later. We will be always ahead of Windows unless they got innovations of their own.

The pics are back up I think?
Oh, those are the pictures? That's nothing. It's just a picture of a CD. I thought it was a picture of the actual thing?

The pictures aren't very inspiring except for the text.

Banjo already quoted them, and they are quite a shot across the bow, basically daring Microsoft to copy the technology in 'Tiger'.

That said, i wouldn't mind copies of the banners themselves to use as a desktop picture. =)
